Actually, it was a great day, other than my shitty wagers. missed watching most of VCU/La Salle because i was at the girl's 2nd hoops game ever (she's 6). game one last week, she was scared of the ball, horrendous. so we practiced some in the basement, passing, skin drills with the boy. game two, scored her first two hoops ever!! woot!
my day wasnt as good.. i braved off lingering sickness to finish helping my mother with her move, then went out for a friends b-day, turns out was still not over being sick cause feeling rough again, lol.. only good thing that happened is i fired away at so many gms that by time i checked my phone later on last night actually ended up some change, oh and won some chedda playing a daily fantasy at draftstreet
..never tried a ncaa hoops fantasy gm before, just played with what was left over after nfl last week, either lucky or good not sure which yet..

It was awesome. Took her out for her favorite breakfast this morning to celebrate. Great to watch the door of hoops possibility open before a kid's eyes. Best game in the world and it can take you all kinds of places, but it offers nothing greater than the sense of pure joy that one can find the first time he or she is on the court.
