Either Arkansas or Indiana will cash -- just not sure which.
Hey, NC. You mean because of the line moves? It's tough to win on the road in the Big Ten, that's for sure (just ask Illini). That said, no way would I bet IU tonight.

if that is true which very well might be i guess arky the play, or im just saying that cause for some reason i feel pretty strongly bout wiscy. strange cause i know at some point wiscy will take a road loss that will prob be worse than this one would be,,i just dont think this the day.. i got no freaking clue on the uk/arky gm, i can make a reasonable argument for either side really..

tempted to play this 2u, but going to stick to 1u for all plays as i continue to get my feet wet in hoops this season. new totals model puts this around 167-168 and so does KenPom, but staying conservative for now.

Well, that was a proper first half bed-shitting by Xavier. Gtown, without 3rd and 4th leading scorers, scored 42 points and hit 7-11 from deep. Septuble bah.

Whoa, positively sickass comeback by XU. Ended game on 16-0 run to win by 13 and somehow cover the minus-6 with ease. Tribe and Blue Hens left a ton of points on the court (esp. on the FT line), and played to proper 70-possession pace, but no dice, so 1-1 start.

They cleaned it up! Or, perhaps a better way to put it is that Gtown managed to out-shit-the-bed 2H. No FGs last 7 minutes, no points last 6 minutes. Expected lack of depth to catch up to them without Smith and Trawick, but sure didn't see it going down the way that it did. XU deserves a lot of credit for shutting down the Hoya three-point shooting in the final 14 minutes. 10-15 first 26 minutes, 0-2 last 14 minutes. Hard to believe that they only got 2 attempts for such a long stretch after the red-hot start. Excellent defense late once they finally got going.

Was wondering what happened with that gm, been out and about all night but I see I got double fukked, hens were up 8 so I'm guessing a last second garbage 3 bear me by the hook, then I couldn't figure out why the hell they didn't hit out number, guess that explains it.. Good thing I bet like 15 plays tonight so that 1 and some other asshole team that got me by the hook shouldn't be end of world, lol..

We got the late FTs and threes that we needed (and that you would expect in a game where the home fave holds a two-score-plus lead heading into the final few minutes), but they had already missed like 15 FTs at that point. Surely, we cannot expect teams to hit all their FTs, but these two teams normally shoot combined around 70% at the stripe but hit only 25-41 (60.9% last night). Also, after starting hot from deep, W&M hit only one three-pointer in the final 16-plus minutes. Normally FT% from both teams, plus one more three from the Tribe, gets us to 154.
Whatever. All of that sound like whining, and the play deserved to lose (and was nowhere near the 167-168 that KenPom and my model both predicted). Moral of the story: when the books open the total 14 points below KenPom, and the first line move is a drop, take heed. It's worth noting that UK/Arky total was in a similar boat, and although the over it, it needed OT. A loss is a loss is a loss, but if i don't try to learn something from the loss, i'm doomed to take more of them.

Will be sure to check it out sometime today, thanks for the head up. Off and running for work and probably won't have any time to cap games today, though i certainly will try. Have a good one, pal.

No doubt. Although I woulda been pretty pissed not to get the uk/arky over cause that gm was on pace for well over till whatever the fukk happened the last 10 minutes of that 1? I said the other day about that total, lucky for ot but bs we even needed it.. Yea whining useless, especially if u betting as many games as me it's inevitable there gonna be some crazy things good and bad happen in this sport.. Was just curious how gm played out as I wasn't around last night..
