think im going to spend about 5u on some futures...
early odds per covers have the cards at 15/1. that will be for 2u if i can get at least 10/1.
then 1u on a few others with at least 20/1...
kentucky 40/1, VCU 75/1 seem like live longshots at 1st glance...

teams that can rebound are what im after - anyone can get hot and shoot lights out 1 game, but who can pound the glass when theyre shot is off is what im looking for...VCU and Kentucky are monsters on the glass..

starting to now dig into my bracket...
worked on my rebound/FT rankings and now looking at travel distances...
i love VCU but they arent winning in Cali vs UCLA...1 and done for a team i would have picked to get into the final 4 if they were in the West bracket

I liked VCU as an Elite 8 team before the brackets came out...will be challenged in 1st round, but should get through.
I still think they'll give UCLA some trouble.

i narrowed my choices down to 16 after reading that no team 5-16 seed has won since 1988...
think i found some teams who can definitely cut down the nets....
i actually have kentcuky beating wichita, but i could def be wrong about them, and 20/1 is great value on a 1 seed thats been there...

I still haven't finished my bracket. Every time I sit down to do it, I get stuck and stop lol. I have Wichita beating Kentucky. I'm not as down on Wichita as most people, but Kentucky could exploit them in the paint.

Michigan St and Louisville are easily the two best teams right now, but they both play in the toughest region. I'm not that high on Gators or Zona, but they both have pretty easy paths to the final four. UCLA could be a good sleeper in that region to get past the final four though. I like your UCLA future. Usually recipe for a deep run is NBA talent + good coach, UCLA has both.

These are the matchups that I can't decide on in my bracket:
1st round: Nebraska vs Baylor
Sweet 16: Ohio St vs Cuse:
Sweet 16: Duke vs Michigan
Not sure how far to take Creighton or to drop them early. I could see them going either way. Not really sure what to do with Wisky either. Could see them falling early to Oregon, or making elite8/final4.
