Two good Defensive teams here combine averaging only give up 110 points but offensivley scoring on average 127. I know there has been a lot of low scoring events in CBB lately but i still think this game goes over. i think its going to be really close probably staying under 120 but i can't lay 2 with Virginia on the road. Ok guys I tried posting this at midnight but SBR was being dumb and I couldn’t seem to get on the forum. Anyway…I'm hoping it’s not a trap game but I like George Mason -6. I already locked it up. Looking at some stats here Old dominion is shooting at 38.5% on the season and hasn't been over 40% in their last 5 games. George Mason has been at 43% on the season not great but better than Old Dom...These two teams actually met earlier this season at George Mason and mason came away with a 71-46 win. In the game however masons leading score at 18 ppg had 1pt...If Sherrod Wright picks up his game at Old Dom I don't see why they don't come away DD winners. Wright has averaged over 20PPG since these two teams last meeting. Jonathan Arledge has also been stepping his game up especially the last two games coming away with 14 and 19 points. To me if these two guys can be as hot as they have been the last two games I cant see old dom's D who has been giving up 69PPG keeping either of these two guys out of double digits. Painter which is old dom's leading score only had 5 points against Mason last time they played, if they can keep him shut down like they did the first game I think they have a great shot at covering. Old dom has been losing their games by and average of 8.5PPG. In there last 9 games they are 0-9SU and have lost by an average of 9.2 points. If mason can win the battle on the boards I think this game can gets out of control like it did the first time. Old dom is a better offensive rebounding team than mason but as long as they do not get many second chances I think mason runs away...just hoping this isn't a trap or a let down game for mason coming off some tough games and already slaughtering Old dom once this season. I hoping they don’t over look this game and come hungry for a big win since this is a conference game.
