Glad the Lakers covered but I forgot they lost 1/8 and didn't bet enough to cover the loss. I'm only down the vig but still...need to keep the mental errors to zero.
I'd like to blame it on my little one because she was sitting in my lap while I was trying to make my bets. But it's my own damn fault.

Hi Knugen,
Good question, despite other opinions to the contrary (we wouldn't have this forum if we all knew everything). Miami falls into the exception I've quoted below from JM's pdf. They are currently in a V2 B Bet situation. If they had won the V2 A Bet they would have dropped off the V1 list, as an exception. As it happens, they lost by more than the spread +3 so they now become a V1 A Bet while retaining the V2 status with a B and C bet lined up as well. If you played (and lost) the V2 A Bet, you could continue with the V2 B and C Bets concurrently with the V1 A to C Bets and go for a 2 unit profit. Alternatively, you can immediately let go of the lost V2 A bet 1.83 unit stake and play to win only the regular 1 unit on the V1 3 game series, thereby planning to lose 0.83 unit (at best) from Miami's road trip, or you can play the V1 series to win 1.83 units (P/L neutral), 2.83 units (1 unit profit) or 3.83 units (2 units profit from 2 versions). In any event, the JM A bettors certainly do not want Miami to go to a V1 C Bet. That would be a megga expensive wager. Your money, your call.
Now, an exception would be that if a team has been playing road game(s) within their own conference before they start 3 consecutive games vs. 3 opponents from the opposing conference, then you should only treat the 3-game series vs. the opposing conference as eligible for play ONLY if that team has lost ALL of its road games from the beginning of the road trip by more than 3 points against the spread.
Wallco NBA Chase 110 2012-13 System to date: 35-0 (fin. series) System profit/loss: +35.00 units (fin. series) Current open series: 2 (-5.37 units)
(1/9/13): #33Philadelphia (+4½)(B) - Loss #35L.A. Lakers (+13½)(B) - Win #36Atlanta (M/L)(A) - Loss #37Phoenix (+9)(A) - Win
v1 Plays (A) 22-15
(B) 8-6 (C) 5-0 (D) 0-0
There are no system plays for (1/10/13): #33Resumes (C) on 1/12/13 #36Resumes (B) on 1/11/13
We will ALWAYS play the M/L on favorites and the point spread (-110) on dogs. The team underlined and highlighted blue is the play. There is no point buying in this system, with one exception, if your team is the favorite, and buying down to a (-½) point spread is cheaper than playing the M/L, then by all means, buy the points, otherwise, M/L on all favorites and point spread on dogs. All results will be based on this principle. All lines and standings are based on FINAL lines from ScoresandOdds.com/. If one of the teams we are playing switches from a favorite to a dog, after my initial post, make sure you get the appropriate line if it differs from what I have posted. The wins and losses will be based on who is the dog team, and who is the favorite on ScoresandOdds.com/ final lines. I will try to update my post as often as I can throughout the day, if the lines change. However, it is the individual bettor’s responsibility to get the appropriate line if it differs from the line in my post. System rules and backtest can be found in post #219.

Yes. Their road trip started in-conference and they lost the conference game by more than 3 to the spread. So a new v1 series will start today, as well as the scheduled v2 B bet.

Miami Heat -3 Off a disappointing performance at Indiana, expect the reigning NBA champs to flex their muscles in Portland where they have won the last 3 meetings by at least 7 points. The Blazers have won their last 3 but are 3-12 ATS after 2 or more consecutive wins over the last 2 seasons. They have lost these contests by an average score of 102.5 to 96.0. The road team is 16-5 ATS in the last 21 meetings, and the Heat are 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings in Portland. Indiana's defense though is a far cry from what the Heat will face in Portland and the double digit loss should wake this team up and it actually puts Miami in a favorable spot as favorites off a double digit road loss who are winning more than 60% of their games on the season are 251-181 (58.8%) since 1996.

As much as no one wants to hear about "a new system." I thought I would share some labby information with you all. As I continue my labby back test from previous seasons I got my coworker started on it who already had a background in sports betting, but was unsuccessful with his own picks. Introduced him to this system as well as Stiff's for him to follow. Mainly recommended this one to start off with so its easier to track. As I was showing him the labby decided to research how much a conservative labby approach would have made this season.
I may have missed 1 or 2 games this season, so feel free to double check, but these are the games I have bet on. Attached is my excel file if I were to run a $20 unit size with a labby line starting of 10-10-10-10. It can be a bit confusing because I do not add any additional units to the line when a new series is starting. All games were played at -110 (ATS) based on covers closing lines.
In the end the labby total with a very conservative approach is up 21 units this season ($418) since Oct 31, but what is most interesting is the risk amount. The biggest bet would have only been $42 up to this point in the season. As I continue my test I want to figure out what percent of your bankroll can you really put on your labby with out a risk of losing say more than 50% of your bankroll at any point in the season.
The labby strategy is a bit of an adjustment from a regular labby. If my labby line is say 5#s at the end of the day and the following day there are say 4 games, I total my labby line together and create a new line over 8 #s which lowers the risk. It also does not maximize the profit, which is why I need to figure out what percent of your bankroll you can really stick on your starting labby line.
No new rules, filters, are applied. Similar to 1-3-5 all games in the excel file were tested at -110 odds.
Enjoy and please share any feed back you may have.

Hey guys,
First of all, thanks to everyone in this thread for all of your help. I've been lurking and trailing for about a week and I just hopped on. I was just wondering what sportsbook to use/switch to. I've been using dimes for about 6 months and never had any deposit issues...until today. I'm going to speak with their customer service to find out why but in case I am no longer able to deposit, what other books to US players use? Thanks in advance.

I may be wrong here, but I am under the assumtion with the 7/5 that it is played instead of the normal chase to win one unit. So I am playing Miami to win 8 units, 1 for the V1 chase and 7 for the 7/5.
I mean I guess if you wanted to bet 1 unit on the V1, 7 units on the 7/5 and then 2+ units on the V2 chase nobody is stopping you. I just don't recall that being the recommended course of action by the gurus in here.

the offshore industry is in poor shape right now. I would only send my money to the most secure books. Don't let generous bonuses convince you to deposit with shady/new operations.

I also have 8 units down on Miami but tempted to lay some more with that Miami confidence. I'm just going to play it safe with my eight though

Thanks, much appreciated. After talking with 5D CS i was able to deposit, but I am still considering moving my money over to Heritage...not sure why, I just get the general sense that people deem it a very "classy" and "reliable" book...

Aren't 5D and heritage partner books? I think 5D does book to book transfers to heritage only.

It wasn't that they wouldn't let me deposit, the deposit just wasn't going through- I was using my cc card(as I'm unfamiliar with other depo methods) and after talking with a cs rep he told me to try again after he reached out to the cc dept and it went through.
I only recently started browsing the forum and I've started following the Wallco, JM(7/5) and Stifler systems. If my roll increases as much as I think it will, I might just move my money over to Heritage(not sure whether they are partners with 5D or not) because they allow 2 check requests per week...Also their CS seemed to respond a lot faster.
On another note, given the backtesting results from these systems, with proper BR management, you could make a lot of money using these systems...and relatively quickly. Tack onto that some of the other threads that I've seen(ex. KhmerKid) and the amounts that people bet it really is a head-scratcher to me why people continue to post their plays here. I'm just curious- these people could easily just make bank, move to some remote island and retire, yet they continue to post their systems and picks every day for the general public to use. Don't get me wrong, I fully appreciate it and there is no way I could thank Wallco, thelimit, stevex and Stifler enough for opening my eyes(and I've only been here for a week). Does it not get to a point where you are just satisfied with the coin that you've made and can live happily ever after?
Anyways, thanks again for the help guys, I'm grateful to have found this thread.

I have a poker friend that helped start up a sports site recently if you want to check it out. $20 minimum bet, but have to personally sign up through the manager. Below is the site and email of the person you need to contact to get it set up. $20 minimum bet with out a max that I know of. Lines are similar to 5dimes. I only browsed through it have not actually used it myself. I know the guy personally though, so cash out friendly he says and I believe him. Feel free to email any questions you may have.
Guy is named Chris, just tell him Austin recommended you, should not be a problem. If I ever have problems with 5dimes and get a bigger unit size, I will most likely use it myself. For now just waiting for my taxes to come in. I personally liked it as a poker player cause he said he could transfer my cash out money to my poker site. That is really all i know about it right now. He gave me a username and password to check out the site before signing up. Just didn't have the unit size at the time.
Let me know what you all think of it. I still have two months or so before I make a deposit. One thing I don't like about 5dimes is the first three deposits can only be $250 at a time, which racks up bankfees for being over seas 1 at a time.

Welcome to sbr. Be careful and don't get ahead of yourself-- it's not as easy as it seems. Money management is the key, not winning (if that makes sense). Vegas is what it is because 99% are losers, not winners. So be careful and don't bet over your head.. Noone is gonna get rich quick in this game..but if you grind it out and know your limits, it is possible to make a decent side income. BOL
