Heavy Favorites experiment..$100 to $1,000

Dude have a look at European Volleyball if your book has it. I'm doing very well out of it taking short priced favourites. I know nothing about the sport, but if you do a little research on how teams are traveling, standings, recent history, etc the favourite rarely loses. The favourite must always be playing at home though - dunno why but home-ground advantage seems pretty handy to have in this sport.

I actually went and looked and my book does have international volleyball, but I think I might just stick with the NBA and NCAA basketball for now. I tried fooling around with tennis and that killed me, but I appreciate the info. I might throw down a few bets on the side.

Bucknell did exactly what I thought they would and jumped all over the Lafayette Leopards in the first half, ultimately winning the opening half by 20. I will post my next play once my wager goes through as a win.

Davidson is 16-2 against conference opponents, and Furman is a measly 9-10. Furman is also 5-10 away from their home court. All signs point to Davidson sucker punching Furman right out of the gates.

I knew where they were playing, I looked up the arena they were in before I threw money down on each bet. I don't think it was as risky as you made it seem, and it was at a fairly great price, so I took it. I think the game just finished too, adding another win to the streak.

Thanks guys, I hope some of you followed at least a couple plays and made some money. But what do you guys think, should I bank it all and start over or go for the $1,000 like I said I was going to try to accomplish? I currently have $610.40 in the "bank" for the next game, so I believe I should only have to win 2 or 3 more to get that $1,000. Let me know what you guys think. I'll start looking into plays now.

So I decided to try to reach that goal of turning $100 into $1,000 in ten plays, so I will stick to that. With that said, I think the Seminoles improve onto their impressive and surprising season by beating the Tigers today. I think this line is a little lower than expected because Clemson handled the Seminoles earlier in the year at Clemson, but FSU is a totally different team now, and they will be at home where they are 14-2 (Clemson is 4-7 on the road). Also, with it being senior day in Tallahassee, the team will be extremely inspired to let their seniors walk away from their college careers with a victory in their last game on their home court. Let's home that happens.

If you win this, you'll be at $800 which means you have $700 profit off one attempt and you can basically have 7 new attempts on house money to turn $100 - $1000. And you'll just need one of these attempts to succeed to turn another profit which is very possible. And putting urself in a situation where u start with 7 'free attempts' is far better than risking one attempt to win $200 more to get to $1,000.

I have definitely thought about it, without a doubt, but I feel like if I don't go for the $1,000 then I didn't accomplish what I wanted to do. I don't feel like attempting this 10 times before I do it, either. I think I have one last good play after this Florida State game, but I still have a whole half to think about what I want to do. I will let you guys know after this game ends and after I look into the other games this afternoon/tonight.

So here is the last and final bet for attempt #1, even though I will miss $1,000 by $15. Close enough for me. Arizona beat the Sun Devils by 17 earlier in the season, and Arizona State has been a disappointment all season with a 9-20 record. Arizona is 12-5 against conference opponents while ASU is the other way around, at 5-12. Arizona has won 4 of the last 5 meetings between the teams, including 2 road victories. Arizona is also 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games, and with them giving 8.5 today, that seems like a good bet that they will win straight up. I se the Wildcats cruising to another win and hopefully giving me the tenth and final win of this system.
