My NBA Picks Round 1.

No point spread bets just sticking to totals, my specialty- which is about to lose in this 1st half =p. I'm not liking these calls though. Seems like OKC is getting some favoritism this ref Scott Foster loves the Thunder. - 3:30 remaining in the 1st half

Last time out was more totals 95 over, moves to 96.5, then to 96. Quick line movement the entire game made it hard for me to bet. The operative couldn't make up his mind or the degen bets got too much in my way(other people betting and moving the lines, who the **** bets 5 seconds within the line going up? surely no one with my level of skill =p). I could have easily got in several bets but when the totals were where I wanted them to be they instantly moved within 10 seconds.

I'm happy I didn't make a shit load of losing bets because of line movement in the 1st quarter. I'm annoyed I didn't make winning bets in the 2nd quarter- because of the line movement. In the end it all evens out so I gotta be happy =p ... wooh sah, wooh sah.

I never really had a grip over this game though. Ever since the series moved to OKC in game 3 it's been a struggle. Conservatively losing this first half means I'll most likely hit a winning bet in the next half though =p.

I missed my chance in the 3rd quarter to get a couple wins in a row.

with 9 minutes to go in the 4th quarter the score 208- was too high to bet the over. And with the 2 teams and the end game factor it I can't bet the under either. Not feeling anything in the 4th already I don't like how it's going. I'll post my 3rd quarter bets after the game, was not a winning quarter I bungled it.

Prolly not gonna play anything in this 4th gonna need something strong to change my mind.

Edit: Lol, Spurss within 6... Westbrook thinks he's fuckin Allen Iverson or something. Give the ball to Durant numb nuts you're not the best player on this team.

8:29 pm: Last totals with 3 + minutes 213.5 leaning under but still no play just watching this game.

8:32 pm: Manu playing like a champ. So many super stars and chokers can learn from this guy. Such a good player when healthy.

8:37: Lakers have won alot of games like this. It's kind of a joke though. Players know that fouls won't get called late in the last minute of the game so they basically mug the player because the ref will choke on the whistle except for that special rare moment when they don't. The opposite team gets ****** and the Lakers win the championship XD.

8:42 Now we will see the same type of 'defense' but a foul will be called. Spurs need to foul 3 seconds down. OKC can pass the ball and try to run it out. Watch them prolly go over to the ref and say- hey we are fouling here(they do it all the time). lol. and spurs have a foul to give, lol not good for them.

I got so unlucky to lose that -5.5, was a good decision after that OKC went to +11 for the 3rd quarter then to +9.5. Then to ******* me up the ass =p.

I made that OKC bet knowing it was a risk. My opinion on this game is I never had grasp of the totals and I could have gotten some lucky wins and some losses but the results don't show the whole story. My picks in coordination with the totals that were up at the time, were totally incorrect. Except for at the end of the 2nd qtr / half(but I couldn't make that bet line movement) and at the end of the game.

Clearly I struggled with this game but I can't figure out if I struggled beccause I wasn't focusing enough on the game or if it's the spastic pace OKC plays at. 3-3 in live in play today not good for me.

Ignore that Spurs to 25 first and I'm like a milkmaid only my juice is of the paper variety and not from dairy cultures.

I foresaw myself struggling and I either jinxed myself or should have just went with my instinct. All in all it's not bad just a couple of juiced games. I can keep going or I can stop cause I killed it up until the conference finals. Now that there is more on the line for the players, it is mentally getting in my way. Under 86.5 ugh, da **** am I doing there lol.

Not bad at juggling I would say. I mean it's easy to have a good year in betting though and maybe that's all this is for me. Props, check. 1st quarters, check. Live in play, check. Moneyline, check. MLB, check.

Only just started fading myself but I wish I had done it the whole time =p. I thought it would go like that but I didn't know it would be that dramatic. Take a look, watch me juggle yet another winning proposition in a very unorthodox way. Like I did in basketball all season long.

Nothing for either of two of these games today n' yesterday. 2 bets 2 wins, Spurs over for 1st half time yesterday live. And Miami over in the 1st half live, after that I just watched the games. Nothing much else to say or post... I've covered my thoughts ad nauseam in this thread. Season is basically over and only 8 maximum games remaining in these playoffs. I doubt anything spectacular will happen in these last 8 games. So hope everyone had a great year =). I'll hopefully be back next year. Good luck to the rest of you.

Hello thinking about posting again here this year, not sure though as it requires time spent and if I don't gain enough from posting I may not do it this year. Last year I just wanted to kind of 'talk to myself' in my own thread. This year I may just keep my thoughts to myself.

Stopped posting in my baseball thread as the idea crashed and burned. It became irritating to continue to make those random picks in MLB so I stopped that posting there and took a welcomed break from posting.

The start of this NBA season I have been a procrastinator just too comfortable with my financial situation so I haven't really continued to grow my betting tool kit for this NBA season. I'm just gonna start now despite having not viewed a full game yet this basketball season. Here are my results(wins/losses), all of the bets I have made so far this year were just me messing around.

Last year the thing I felt I was the most successful at was live in play betting in b-ball....... half way through the basketball season I noticed a pattern which allowed me to have such success with live in play from then on(look at the wins from live in play). This year, I don't expect the same pattern to continue so I'll be looking for a new pattern while seeing if my old pattern ill still work for me in live in play.

These bets I made in these games... basically I was bored turned on the television watched like 1-2 minutes of the game waited for a commercial and fired. Cut out my mma results so its in splices:

I knew betting that Laker under 102 would somehow screw me. Game is clearly out of reach but the coach keeps the starters in it late and they put up 10 points in the last minute 20 seconds do the Lakers, thus screwing me. 1 bet there would have been fine I went into depth about how endgame can screw you in live in play sometimes last year a couple times. Anyway no big deal, maybe that's what you call rust.

Oh and the Suns under 92.5 was a screw job for me also. 12 points in the last minute, 5 points in 19 seconds but that games score was close enough to where I kind of expected that to happen so *shrug*.

These are the only bets I've made involving basketball this year, I should have probably been more observant early in the year but I one of my biggest faults is when I start to get good at something I usually move onto something else. Gonna try to see if I can have a great remainder to the season.

Not making any pre-game picks this year. Don't want to research them as I feel it expends much energy than I'm willing to put in right now.

Like I said in my previous post. Guy that take time to accurately cap the game, then post their picks. It's not easy, for me it became stressful after some point. So this year I will not be posting my plays before the games. There may be some backlash for me posting my plays after they are over, oh well... if you don't like it.... don't look.

With the type of money I saved up and the laziness level being at a high right now(it might change in a couple of months). I am not going to be making prop picks on unless I like something or am just gambling. I will not be making any serious pregame bets. I've decided that this year I am going to just keep my pregame bets small that way I can chase based on the size of my roll and still be up also I just don't feel like doing research.

Onto what I'm most proud of. Remember last year when I said in a high scoring game(when there is live in play betting) involved... there would be a peak. Well so far in every high scoring game if you hit the over early when it looked like it would go over, you'd be + units. There is a rule I employed last year, and it's what allowed me to go on such a live in play run. I just make sure I bet the over early in high scoring games before the total is too high- and sometimes even when it looks too high I still stamp the over. Some teams you have to know(this just takes watching the NBA) will always bring their scoring back down most of the time. And that is when I dont just bang the over. I only do the games on ESPN, TNT, and nationall broadcasted games that does not include NBA TV. Here are last week results(all the results since after the previous post so more than a week):

19-8 this year in LIVE IN PLAY NBA. After my last post I got the urge to watch the games in their enirity an since I started watching the game from beginning till about the end last week or so(the previous post those were all just turn on the game and fire with out thinking/anticipating/watching the game).

This has all happened since half way through last year like I keep saying, there's just something I noticed that seems to hold true for most of these games. See my posts from last year.

What I love most about this is the fact that I can hit over 60%(more like aroundd 70%) of my live in play bets since before the all star break of last year. I'd love to meet someone who is just as good at calling the score, would be a great talk maybe I can learn something or we can see who can get more totals correct while we watch the game.
