You must really be tired with football to be hitting up preseason Good luck, hope you kill it
With the rush through training camps this year I would argue that these are the most meaningful preseason games we'll ever see, and yeah, I'm not super interested in any of the pre-Xmas bowls. Just a little bit of fun.

Such is the risk of preseason games. No Parker/Duncan for SA and no Hayes/Cousins for SAC...

Waiting/hoping the line drops a little more. It's also being dealt live so I might just hold on and play it midgame. I can see Denver pushing early and the Blazers having to weather the storm. I still think -5 is a winner though. GL tonight.

This line movement just doesn't make sense to me, and 80%/87% on the Spurs spread/ML makes me think this is a good spot to put a little more on Houston.

My record was not all documented publicly so I won't claim a record from last year. In general, I was up small at the end of the regular season (maybe +5u) and had a pretty solid run to start the playoffs, but I should have toned it down after the second round as I bled away much of my profit to end up about 8u in the black over the course of the full season over maybe 400 plays. I left a lot of money on the table through a lack of discipline.
This year I'm trying to be better about documentation & discipline.

Favors has been pulled as a starter for the Jazz in favour of Millsap. Line went down at +3.5 (-109) and came back up at +4 (+100) & ML +160. Odd because this is a beneficial move for the Jazz... I'm liking the Jazz ML more and more.

All plays sound good, sk. Just wish I could still get the Grizz at 6, went out for a walk and when I came back it was at 6.5 and juiced.

I knew I was going to play them yesterday when the line came out but thought the Houston blowout might lead to some Rockets money and drop the line. Still getting used to the quick turnaround of overnight lines again after 4 months of football. At any rate, I feel like this game has blowout written all over it, with Houston having Atlanta tomorrow for their 3rd in a row and Memphis in a great spot schedule-wise. The Grizz can leave it all on the floor tonight.
Good luck buddy

I wanted to play the Grizz as well, but decided against it because of their injury situation. I assume their lack of depth in the backcourt without Conley and Henry does not concern you. Good luck bud

IMO, the Bulls +1 was bait from the start. The Clippers are coming off a rough loss on the road, playing their home opener with two of the best guards in the NBA in Paul/Billups capable of pressuring even the best defensive teams and creating outside opportunities against a CHI perimeter defense that is not as strong now as it needs to be to be a top team. If this game was played 2-3 weeks from now there's no way the line would have jumped the way it did to Bulls -2. At this point in the season, I have substantially more faith in the line makers initial spreads than the market correction (especially when it matches my own numbers). I think the market in general doesn't have a good grasp on the Clippers yet and we're currently seeing them undervalued for this situation, as the Bulls don't really have their team in sync yet either. This should be a good game. I also think it's a really tall order for the Bulls to win another game in Staples Center on this roadtrip. Not a big play, but good value to my eye.
The Jazz play is partially about the line, and partially the matchup. Philly is a team that looks great on paper and will be pretty good this year, but the Blazers took care of business while the Sixers relied on heavy minutes from their top players and a short bench. The Sixers win over the Suns was not a legit 20 point win as the Suns completely gave up in the first half. Philly hasn't actually shown anything yet this year, even in the preseason (beating the Wiz means nothing), to make me think that they're firing on all cylinders. The Jazz aren't as bad as they looked early (facing the 0-2 Lakers and then B2B @DEN is tough) and are starting a stretch of games where 15 of their next 20 are at home. This home opener is a really big game for them to start building momentum for this upcoming stretch. They pulled Favors from the starting rotation in favour of Millsap, which is a move I like a lot, and I think they come to play tonight.
In both, the Friday night home opener is a big factor, IMO.

Pargo is a solid rookie to man the PG spot (I also really like Josh Selby), and as important as Conley is, the Grizz rely heavily on dominating the paint to do much of their damage. Gasol/Randolph are a much tougher assignment for Hill/Scola to contend with inside than what they've faced so far, and I think Tony Allen will be critical in disrupting Kevin Martin. If Houston wins, they win on the strength of a big game from Lowry, but I think they're going to have a hard time maintaining energy against Memphis on the B2B with the Hawks tomorrow as well.
Of course its so early that anything can happen. We'll see

I wanna take the spread there. The Nuggs can definitely win it. Hoping for a bit of a line move in LAs favor on the count that they won 2 in a row and have Bynum back. interesting that the books are still not giving them a whole lot of credit. Same line Blazers got, you'd think Lakers would get a bit more. Bynum being back can be a bit disruptive in the 1st game.
