C'mon guys, LTA is at work right now. What does he think about 203.5? He'd probably tell you you're getting ½ point value. Do you guys even read his write ups? Or just the play in bold

203.5 is a ½ point of value from his model, wigglebone. I mean, someone has to explain these things to you. Don't shoot the messenger. Most books still have LA at +5, but no one's gonna hold a gun to your head to make that play. But apparently, someone has to hold your hand as you contemplate your plays.

all my friens uses to deposit at 5dimes...if u want ill ask which one it is...i think they take just about any of them

They will because the gambling sites are one step ahead and charge as a different name. Youll be fine. If it doesnt work for some reason or another you can always just use the gift card else where next time you go out. Call them and ask they could also point you in the right direction Im sure.

How do you guys actually follow line history...when i put on a play, I see the current line and either accept it or decide to wait and check later...but how could i check what the line actually opened at and how it has moved from then to the present.

I use Pinnacle for my actual plays, and i know that it is considered a "flagship" for tracking line movement by many...

could anybody give me a clik-by-clik of how to access the line-movement history feature at pinny?

LTA- great job on picks, as of late. I enjoy glancing at your thread and reading your write-ups. Wanted to throw something out there regarding the Lakers game. I had circled the Mavs late yesterday before the lines came out. I had the Mavs valued at - 4.2 and -4.55 on two different formulas I use. I looked in my notebook and remembered that Laker/Mav game on 1/16. I had the Mavs +4 and Fisher hit that 3 with a couple seconds left to break the tie and give the Lakers, what I thought was a lucky win. Mavs had a decent lead, but gave it up in LA. Mavs have been playing well at home and more importantly this is their last game before the break. I believe we will see a very strong effort by the Mavs tonight. Lakers have another tough road game on Thursday in Oklahoma. If the Lakers do win/cover, I will be very interested in the Thunder on Thursday anywhere below - 6 1/2 .

I believe you were on the under on the Blazer/Laker game on Monday. I was surprised how the Lakers seemed so undisciplined, even after having such a big lead. Not a fan of Coach Brown, but Jackson didn't leave because coaching the "Lake Show" is easy. I'm sure you probably caught the end of the Lakers last game. Maybe they turn it around, but last game was almost like street ball. Selfish play, fouling, launching 3's with a big lead, not using the clock and on and on. They were up big and had to put Kobe back in.

+5 is a solid number and it's sitting at 4 1/2. I'm hoping Laker backers will show some love and I can grab the Mavs -4. Going to be a great game with Bynum returning to Dallas after clothesline, Odom against old team. Jason Terry has also been heating up. Dirk always seems strong. Not trying to elbow in on your thread. I always make my picks or leans before looking at anyone elses input. Interesting how you came up with 3. Trying to fine tune my #'s on totals which I rarely bet before looking at your thread. You've made some solid observations. I also circled the under 187 1/2 on the Knicks/Hawks game. Hawks really struggling on the road as of late. Good luck with the Laker game, will be interesting to see how it turns out.

we need more of this! most of the people that post in here do not handicap games (i am definitely one of them) and come in looking to tail the best NBA handicapper on this site with an up to date thread. more chatter like this could only improve the thread, and i know in the past LTA has more than welcomed it.

just my two cents. best of luck everyone who is on LTAs plays tonight. i was lucky i was up late last night and got 200.5. still waiting to see if i will bet the other game or not myself.

I'll be honest, I hate to post picks. It's the kiss of death. The season is a grind and you're best advised to have a thread that shows a track record like LTA, vs periodically jumping out there with a couple picks. I swear to god I'll win 8 out of 9 and then post a pick and lose. It would be great to have civil discussions on games, but that's usually short lived. I'm having a great season in the NBA. I attribute much of that to being more focused. Haven't bet a college BB game all year. Usually bet 1-3 games max a night, otherwise the juice will slowly eat you up.

I invest in equities for a living and just can't fool around with this during mkt hours. That's why I work on my numbers at night.

I jumped on the under with the Knicks. Right after my post, it upticked to 188 1/2 so I bit. Layed the 4 1/2 with Mavs. Ironically they posted Thunder -6 / Lakers so I quickly went to bet that. On the confirmation screen they cancelled me out and the game is no longer available. Seemed odd? No value for me on Wiz Ov +204 , so I'll be rooting for those that locked that down at a better number.
