What's making you think the over is the play in the Lakers game? I've been curious about this line all day..wondering what your thoughts are on it.

I viewed this one as a solid over play with the Lakers on three in a row with tired legs, going against the fresh legs of Utah. However, in the end, I viewed there to be too many question marks to play this too early in the season.

A ton of places...off the top of my head, NBAstuffer, teamrankings, covers, espn, nba.com, basketballreference.com, yahoo, etc. You also need to learn the formula for possession, pace, true shooting, etc. GL

Read the book Basketball on Paper by Dean Oliver. You can also google the possession formula and find out more. GL

No time for an indepth writeup right now, but I'm taking the sixers tonight against an aging nash and suns team that is trending downwards. The sixers are more athletic and deep and I expect them to improve their road record this season starting tonight. I have the sixers set at 3 point faves and I'm rolling with them tonight for 1x. Leaning hard to both the heat under and celts under. I just dont see them shooting so well 2 nights in a row, regardless of the quicker pace they have been playing so far this year.

I need to get good numbers though...

Celtics/Hornets under (176) 0.50x (Locked)

I wanted to get 177, but it never got there and I lost the hook at 176.5. Therefore, I will reduce my wager in half. I still like this enough for a play as I have it set at 173.5. I am rolling with the under for 0.50x. Good luck.

Yep..i put much less stock in a move like that in the beginning of the year, as opposed to the end. Plus, its common for those moves to lose to the closing number. It might hit 191 and all the early over money cashing and all the late steam chasers losing.

I MUCH rather go under than over (in this case) when the line has swung this much. I trust oddsmakers but also respect line moves. But a move this big could just mean the last 2-3 points of that movement are steam chasers & the move isn't 100% legit.

GL w/ this play, I choose to stay away.

That is the lowest I would play it at. Try to get at least 175.5 or better, but don't play it below 175. I'm going to see where it goes. I can get 175 or 176 as I look at my phon.
