I'm not worried as I expect the Heat to really slow it down in the 4th quarter as they have done all series. This will be played first to 90 wins...good luck all!

Cash it! The under hits easy as the pace really slowed in that second half just as we predicted. Couple that with strong defense, poor shooting and a non-existant Lebron, and we hit that one with plenty of room to spare. OT was our only enemy. So the books finally made a real adjustment towards the under and opened between 185.5 and 186 (at Pinny). Early action on the under brought that number down to 185, with most books juicing the under.
Unfortunately, that does not leave us much value on the under, which is what we wanted to take at around 187. With Lebron playing so poorly and both teams shooting just as poorly, however, perhaps a small play on the over is in order for this one. I need to check out the boxscore a little more closely and look at a few other factors. I don't think we'll have an early play in game 5 and will watch where the line takes us. Either way, we need to go where the value is and at this time I do not forsee a big play in game 5.
No need to worry about the baby cutting in on my capping efforts. My wife enjoys the extra money too much to allow me to stop and actually encourages and supports me with our capping efforts. Everything in life is about balance and moderation...you can't drink too much, drug too much, cap too much, work too much or do anything too much. But everything can be done in moderation. I will be a great dad and remain a profitable capper. After all, I just won't sleep...I can sleep when I'm dead

Unfortunately, there is no WNBA until Thursday. I will start staking my WNBA picks more heavily when each team has around 5 games and probably won't exceed 1x until then. I don't want to put multiple units on my WNBA plays until we have had the opportunity to spots team trends, players trends, game tendencies, ref leans, league trends, etc. Just like in the NBA, we will start having some 5x-10x spot plays about midway through the season. Wow...ton of action on the Heat/Mavs under...over 80% of all bets coming in on the under. If the total hits 184 or lower, things will get really interesting.
Here's some homework -- we need to look at past NBA final series where tied 2-2 going into the 5th game of the series to see if there are any trends to the over or under. I suspect the under would hit the majority of time, but would like to know if the over hits 40% or more. I will have a chance to check it out later tonight, but if anyone is interested in looking before then, please post the results here. Thanks!Comment -
