it's a one game I rather stay away, & how on earth you get -7 like that?
ATL is mold into dark horse contender now with high confident & push for playoffs or a .500, a strong back court & decent forwards. CT is appeared to struggle with their shooting after a minor changed & opt to go younger by released DeMya Walker, I think they will win at home behind their defense, but will be a tough one.

I got -7 from power ratings. Atlanta is on a streak, but most of their wins came from the worst teams. Indiana was the only decent team that they beat. Not sure how they'll perform vs Conn at home though, should be thougher than the Indiana matchup.

This will be a physical matchup between the top 2 in the west, SA had only 2 games went over in their last 10, while
Lynx will bring their strong interior rebounding and a 1-2 fast-break game on the road.

For the same reason to go over in LA's last game; they will take a lot of 3's & will not play any defense.
Indiana too can get caught in a shooting exhibition, & they can shoot a few 3's as Katie Douglas is a
one of the league leader and they're 41% accurate at home.

        Take Over 151.5

                Also, you mean 2/3 right?
u right, that's very lucky, now you know why I stay away from it, ATL did went crazy & CT some how responded with offense well late in 4th.

ATL made a small mistake at the end, and then WNBA-style fouling did the rest. I wonder what the win record would be if all you did was take 4-5 point favorites.

It's a good win and worked out for you, in the end fatigue had played a factor; ATL went heavy minutes with 7 players rotation. They've held Tina Charles to 10 pts, this is where alot of time CT would have loss,
on to the next one on Tuesday - til then.

                                  New York at Atlanta
ATL will be tough at home as their offense is vastly improved & try to make a push above .500. Their core starters are playing great basketball together & had almost pull an upset against CT in their last road game. Against a 2nd tier teams in their eastern conference such as NY they will put an extra effort, put more pressure on the ball & play for a home court advantage basketball.

Under is 11-5-1 in NY last 17 Tue. games.

                                  Atlanta (-4.5)
                                  Take under 164.5

                                  San Antonio at Seattle
SA has a decent road record 6-2 but for them to win one at Seattle is a mission impossible.
Storm is 6-1 at home, one single loss to Lynx, and will have a big boost with their offense and rebounding dominant here.
A low scoring affair is highly probable between these two teams, in their last game 73-55, Seattle held San Antonio to 27% FG while themselves shoot around 50% FG (their average home FG). Also SA could be without Danielle Adams again due to foot injuries.

Under is 8-1-1 in SA last 10 overall.
Under is 9-4 in SEA last 13 home games.

                                  Seattle (-4.5)
                                  Take under 146.5

I like Seattle -4.5 especially with Adams out, but why hasn't Seattle under moved much -- it's only dropped one point since opening?

I think people still like SA's 6-2 on the road & sitting 2nd in the west, whilst Storm is 4th & still without LJ.

This is an interesting thread how have I missed this? Anyways, I was just going over this game and noticed something I thought was interesting about SEA. Each total at home has gone the way of the 1H total. So if the 1H was under it went under...over it's gone over.

Doesn't mean a whole lot but another thing I saw. The average 1H line for the games that have gone over is around 71...the avg for the games that went under was around 75. I'm expecting tomorrow's to be around 70 seeing how they dropped a whopping 128pts! I liked the under too, but probably won't play it.

I think it will move around closer to the game when the public's bet is coming in, Seattle had shown better offensive & execution, went over the last 2 on the road, but this is rare. At home they will pressure the ball more & SA played the same style, in their last 10 only once went over, included 5 games on the road; I think average FG about 48% for Storm, 30% for SA.

I liked the under too, but probably won't play it.
your observation is correct in most basketball games how the initial game play out its dictate and set the tone for the rest of the game, especially a defensive oriented team. SA and Storm are two quality teams, when facing each others they will not take it likely, they will bring in their A game as it will be tough. Like their last game at home, Seattle will prepare themselves well as they know time is running out & they need to win, protect home court at all cost.

That was the easiest picks ever !!, knowing China was defeated by Angola, Jin was due for a limited minutes
Russia defeated a quality Australian Boomer, they were aggressive and shoot really well, they got height and physical.

from August 6 to 9, will also feature Russia, Angola, and China, while Australia will be replaced by FIBA Oceania rival New Zealand which is a strange format, but look out for these Kiwi; they will have a pure scorer in Kirk Penny

Also SA could be without Danielle Adams again due to foot injuries.

The Stadium packed & gave them a good home crowd. The official heavily favor home team, the Australian would have won by 20 points if it wasn't for so many bad calls; a very physical game, full court press played by the chinese on every possession, crazy stuff.
