Dallas at LA Lakers
intrigue match up in the west between two of the toughest front line in the pacific, we can expect another physical defense in this series at some stage. While Lakers have more experience in close it out & with this many trip to the finals, but the Mav has a far more flexible & a deeper bench. The key for the Lakers is to maintain two win at home and build their confident from here & not to repeat the way it went down in the Hornets series, this may not necessary to do with a home advantage as they can play just as well on the road and at home. They will have to defense well with Dirk's shooting and the Mav's parameter's game and hopefully win game 3 or 4 on the road.
We can expect a zone defense vs zone defense focus match up, the Mav will attack with pick'n'roll & use their guards to maximize their offense off the screen, & will look to utilize their shooting range, should the Lakers push them out from the post.

The Hawks had viewed by many, included myself as a weak first round match up with their front-line & could be their demise, but so far they have silenced the critics & quietly went about in what they have to do to get a win, they have played extremely well with their strength. Against the Bulls they're matched up well around 2 guards up to power forward. Also their bench is good enough to win as had already proven in Orlando series. Coming to this game will look to attack with their mid range shots & relentless pressure defense & coverage on 4 key Bulls players, will keep the margin close to dying minute & hopefully they can steal one just the way they did in Orlando

good idea, let the dust settle abit, i noticed about >80% of game 1 (from round 1 & this round) went over, regardless of previous history, even a bad history such as bos/heats today as you would expect it to be a physical game & it was & therefore a low scoring. Both games went over, just like first round. Good call on Atlanta they will probably be the bet ATS for the series. Lakers sloppy as usual letting Kobe drag the team down. I'm really hoping Dallas will win both games home.

Glad to see you agree on tonight's unders. I just don't see the high shooting percentages we saw in these first games continuing. We should see true defensive battles tonight and shooting percentages which return to all of these teams' averages. The opening game over trend is now finished (I hope).

1. Boston's legs seem to be alot slower to tame Bron & Wade, Boston is really beaten up a bit with minor injuries amongst the big 4 & i dont know if a day rest if any, really would help to fresh leg, & clear fatigue as complained by Rondo here. But also understand that they had been in this situation before, it would help if Shaq is back. It's also help that Lakers down 2-0 at home, Boston would not want a first 3-0 & give Miami one free on the road.
2. When faced steep defensive challenge with a 1 on 1, players between these two teams can really step up and can take clutch shots, so need to really understand & feel out what's possible direction of the game can go & its dynamics; the last thing we would want is both teams average 41% FG but make up with 30/50 free throws & 21/34 3's, so we'll see more info to come in the next 12 hours or so.Comment -
