Yes it is understood but I'm going off with what kobe says in his interviews to see how much he wants to win tonight's game. Is it a statement game for him?

Position is very important right now. Well they played okc last time and they lost twice in the month of April alone. If the playoff were to start today, it would be a rematch again. OKC is sitting at the 4th seed and denver at the 5th seed will have to play them again and poor Denver will struggle again. To avoid this, denver is going to lose on purpose from here on so they can drop a seed. They will then be playing against them lakers or dallas, both teams Denver both whopped in this month alone. Denver will continue to play hard and win if Dallas start losing and dropping their rankings to 4th seed. #4 dallas vs. #5 Denver is what he wants.

Lakers chasing NO

Lakers are 4-0 series with NO. They rather play NO than portland (3-1) or memphis (2-2) so keep an eye on NO that if NO wins, it is going to be a laker show.

Dallas chasing nobody really

Dallas is in a really bad spot. They could win and jump up one seed or drop down a seed and they will have to face portland, memphis or NO and all of these teams gave dallas a run for their money. If anything, they might want to chase portland since they are tied with a 2-2 series given that portland whooped dallas twice as of recent. Dallas do have a position. They want the 2nd seed and not the 3rd or 4th, both of whom will make them vulnerable for Denver to chase them. So if dallas loses and let okc go up one seed, denver will want to win to play dallas for the first round at 5th seed. Now my head is going to explode. LOL

Fading Portland to avoid okc

It is either dallas or Laker that portland will have to face. Given between these two teams, portland is doing their best to lose so they can face dallas or lakers. Portland is no match for OKC and that is a given. A portland win and denver losing will bring portland up one level and doing so, they will have to fight a tougher team, one that they just can't beat.

NO is avoiding them lakers

If playoff right now, they will have to face them lakers and they are 0-4 against them lakers. So if Lakers win, NO will lose on purpose or if Lakers lose, NO will try to win.

Bet on Memphis as they are gunning for Dallas

Memphis played dallas well. They are 3-1 against dallas this year. So watch for Dallas to win and Memphis will try to win.

Eastern Conference:

Boston is in good shape and will rather gunning for knicks rather than philly

Boston owned them Knicks at 3-0 and they don't care about them philly either (2-1).

Miami is chasing for an easy game with philly

Miami is 3-0 against philly so they are chasing philly. If philly lose, knicks win, expect miami to win. If philly wins and knicks win, expect miami to lose on purpose. If philly lose and knicks lose, expect miami to win. Philly wins, knick lose, expect miami to lose.

Knicks are trying to avoid boston

Boston owns knick 3-0 so it is in good intention that knicks will try to win if boston wins. If boston loses and miami wins, knicks will lose on purpose. If boston lose and miami lose, knicks will try to win only if philly win.
