It's about winning money, or at least is to me. Too many grown adults acting like kids on here. The NBA forum has turned into a kiddie playground since I joined SBR a little over 2 years ago.

Honestly it doesn't matter to me one way or the other. When people follow anyone and lose they have no one to blame but themselves. I think much of the problem is the lack of money management by the followers. I don't even know if that's the reason the thread was closed though., was it?

This is what the NBA forum has turned into. A bunch of point betting kids who are just here to be a dick. 90% of the posters in the NBA forum are just like this guy. Seems SBR chooses to do nothing about it. There needs to be a separate forum for people who take their bets serious.

Lyons doesn't hate me. He noticed that my posts were not related to NBA handicapping while I was in the middle of arguing with "LolsMcWinsey". He just needed to filter out the fluff from his reading material on the forums. He even mentioned that the people he blocked weren't necessarily bad people. I can't blame him for that.

check the private zone, there was a bunch of deleted posts from the night they closed it. Not that the "drama" was any different then it is on most nights was worthy of closing it but you'll know why it was.

Yeah basically it was a heated night b/c LB's pick didn't hit. The Lakers lost to the Spurs and then all of a sudden the haters were flooding the thread and rubbing it into his face. Things got way outta control to say the least. Folks this is gambling, not even Billy Walters is 100% correct all the time.

So you really think it's a PURE COINCIDENCE that there was other drama such as the Lakers losing to the Spurs (Lakers were LB's pick that night), followed by a barrage of haters flooding the thread and LB retaliating on one of them? Wasn't it that drama that caused the mods to close the thread? The mods warned LB not to respond to the haters in an insulting way. This is exactly how Lyons described it later.

Ratzz's main issue with LB was the Nazi-related avatars that LB and some of his backers tended to use. It had nothing to do with capping necessarily. I don't think Ratzz necessarily wanted their thread to be taken down. Who knows.
