    lol!!! good luck getting a LOGICAL explanation gold!! with reports indicating jackson being out for the bobcats tonight, there is NO logical explanation of going with bobcats +3 there. but just like in any kind of gambling, suckouts happen in sports betting as well!!! and THE BODY knows all about suckouts !!!

        Why do you think there is no logic ? I picked Charlotte ML and +3 before seeing The Body. I will always do it with such a spread against Memphis , who if you check their record against teams like Charlotte makes sense. They can beat Lakers and loose against Nets easily .

                    I was on leaning Charlotte as well (BEFORE I saw this thread) but opted to go with Houston +9 over the Celtics, which won as well. Since you seem to just want to bitch on this thread about getting a LOGICAL explanation, here's a few for you as to why the Bobcats were the correct play:

                    1) Charlotte's new up-tempo approach under coach Paul Silas has been wildly embraced by the players after a few years of Larry Brown's "slow it down and play defense" mentality. And that claim is supported not only by the players themselves but in the results. The Bobcats were averaging 91.8 points under Brown, they have upped their average 10% under Silas to 99.2 points while winning 4 of 6 games.

                    2) Charlotte upped that average even more over the L3, averaging 102.7 in that span.

                    3) Memphis, who was averaging 99.7 ppg, has on the other hand been on the decline over the L3 games, seeing their average over that span drop to 97.3 ppg. Not to mention on Saturday against OKC, the Grizzlies shot 38.9 percent, including 1 of 15 from 3-point range, scoring only 82.

                    4) There were no reports that Jackson was to be out against the Grizzlies; Gerald Wallace and Nazr Mohammed were out. But it's not like this was the first night he was out...he had missed 4 straight and 8 of the L10. And in his place Gerald Henderson (who Brown never used) has been filling in more than decently and obviously the team has been winning.

                    Now, with all of these LOGICAL reasons in place, J-Money...would you rather have taken a team on an upswing under a new coach (plus 3 to 3.5 points no less) or would you have just assumed that Memphis would beat the 'ole Bobcats on name only?

                                    got a teaser that will hit if knicks cover +9.5. i think this one will be close in the end, could see ATS going either way but I do not see the knicks losing by ten in portland. they've been great on the road.
