Stupid foul. WAS, with all the momentum, suddenly lost final 1:30 or so by a 9-2 score; and that last useless foul got Nets the cover. Two teams that don't belong in the NBA and shouldn't be paid for playing. I don't see how this is not a fix, but I suppose it's just another night in the NBA.

Then after the free throws they do a fade away off balance three point shot from the corner off the inbounds pass. At this point theres 20+ secs to go and they are down five but yet they just toss it up??? Then they foul and the nets make one miss one. Soooo down six they call a time out with 17 and they do another pass inbound fade away three point shot. ******* bullshit at the end. None of these actions typifie how you would strategize to finish a game. They typifie how you would let one team cover. Just plain crap

If this was Euro soccer there would be an investigation. But fixes don't happen in the US of A. Everything is above table here.

They scored at will for the entire second half, until time came to take care of the cover. Second half, first 22:30 minutes: WAS 49-33. Final 1:30 minute: WAS 2-9.

its not just the scores at the end that bothered me. Its the way they pretend to execute the last minute. An experience nba player fouling with 34 secs on the clock at halfcourt in a one possession game? and what game do you watch where down five you jack up an off balance three off an inbound pass with 25 secs to go. No dribbling no passing to a man off a screen nothing. Just catch fade away three.

If there's one game the NJ mob could buy it's this one, against the worst team. Told 'm at halftime to not overdo it and make it somewhat entertaining.

Anyway, a very small number of games are just too fishy. But unless there is an investigation it's impossible to prove a thing. Interesting, though, that posters in the first half were complaining about the zebras favoring the Nets with fathom FT's. lol
