I ran that query. Noticed something interesting on the O/U stats. Of the 21 games only 4 went over and 17 went under. That's 81% went under. Hmmmmm.

I'm going to switch things up a little bit today. I went to http://www.teamrankings.com/nba/team...ing-percentage and got the win % home and away for all the teams, then I did the matchups. On any game where the % differential is extreme I took that side. I didn't even look at the line. LOL I probably should do that at some point.

        Here are my plays today:
        2x round robin $15,000 to win $9,570
        Orlando -450
        New York -190
        Chicago -600
        San Antonio -600
        Denver -750
        Portland -210

2x round robin across all teams (use this site if you need to calculate this http://www.sbrforum.com/betting-tool...alculator.aspx).

        Good luck everyone! Get Some!!

Let's do this 3 teamer just for fun, look at cheezehad62's post a few posts back for the logic on the UNDER play. I HATE totals but this sounds right.

          3 pick parlay +340 (GEEZUZ) $1000 to win $3400
          Miami / Washington UNDER 195 -105
          New York -190
          Portland -210

+340 LOLOLOLOLOL Look at my usual odds and you will see why I am laughing.

            Portland -600 (NBA)
            Virginia -320 (NCAAB)
            Tennessee -750 (NCAAB)
            Colorado -2000 (NCAAB)

Atlanta -325 ?? (NBA) (books are giving a line of -7 1/2 but no ML, crackheads)

Going to go ahead and give the plays on the 8 teams using -325 for Atlanta, if the line changes a lot I will update the plays. I'm making the plays for the first 7 teams now, when Atlanta becomes available I will make the Atlanta play.

Doing 2x and 3x RR (2 pick round robin and 3 pick round robin)

Betting $200 per play, that gives us $16,800 to win $11,100

            Good luck everyone!
Geezuz, freaking Tennessee loses so instead of winning 11K I win 2K, I think I'm going to go visit those ahs, they are taking bribes, I don't live that far from Tennessee, freaking crooks.

            Oh well, I win $2,100

I was talking to a guy in another thread, he compares the win% of the away team to the win% of the home team and if the difference is significant he plays the one that is better. I made those comparisons for today's teams and I came up with these 3 that are not already in my picks for today:
              Toronto
              Detroit
              Houston

I know, I wanted to kill myself, but look at this, compare the win% of the matchup:
              New Jersey Toronto 0.154 0.462
              L.A. Clippers Detroit 0 0.5
              Memphis Houston 0.3 0.636

So, let's do an experiment. 2x and 3x on all teams, let's say risking $500
              Toronto -200
              Detroit -155
              Houston -150

              Toronto Detroit +147 $500 to win $735
              Toronto Houston +150 $500 to win $750
              Detroit Houston +174 $500 to win $870

Toronto Detroit Houston +311 $500 to win $1555
              OH well, small loss, -$1,385.00.

I've been researching these matchups, I'm going to put them into my regular plays for a while and see what happens.

"Brandon Roy is out for sure to rest his ailing left knee.Marcus Camby and Nicolas Batum, who each injured his right shoulder and sat out the second half of Friday's victory over Minnesota, might be missing."
so be careful on portland today; i know it has a good home winning%, but 3 man are on injury list are not a good sign, and it is very close game last night.

                            YTD calculation

I went back over the plays since the last time I updated the YTD

                            $12,661
                            +$2,100
-$1,400 (it was $1300 and change, I can't remember the change)

                            YTD $13,361

Dang, we are slacking this year. Time to step it up.

i watched portland game at last night; it was a very close game, and portland only wins because Rudy Fernandez and Aldridge played so well. Aldridge ties career high with 36, and rudy is over season high before half time. however, it is still a close winning, and portland could not get any defence rebounds in the game.

so i would not plck portland today unless Marcus Camby play today.

                                          Hey Fellas,

Just stumbled across this thread and have an angle that i am going to follow up on. In College Hoops i feel the numbers are typically softer and line movement is more meaningful. So i would look to ML parlay teams that the line has moved making them a greater favorite. Example today Evansville opened as -5.5 and has moved to -6.5, so i would rather have them as part of my ML parlay than BYU who opened at -6.5 and has moved to -5.5. So the thought process is to pair up 2 or 3 teams that are atleast 5 point favorites and have had 1 full point of movement. Obviously, other research is recommended to determine if line move was due to injury, etc, but curious how these scenarios will perform.

Since my book does not offer ML for big point spread games (Denver & Miami for example today), what Sportsbook do you recommend that has this?

Philly is 2-10 on the road. They beat New Jersey and New York.
Orlando is 9-3 at home. They beat Miami and Utah.

Mayer you are right, but I don't see it. Are there any injuries or benched players that affect this?

I would be careful with all the Trailblazer love I see going on here! Portland in B2B game situation here without Brandon Roy yes they got it done in the 1st game last night but usually teams surprise the 1st game without their superstar and get the shock in the 2nd game without them. They may also be without 2 starters who left the game last night with various injuries and didnt return to the game in Marcus Camby & Nicolas Batum who if do not play tonight only leave Portland with 9 healthy players and this is not the team you want to play with a short bench. I also do not believe they will repeat their 7-21 from 3pt land they shot last night %33 while Minnesota shot 3-17 %17.6 I can gurantee GS will make more than 3 3's avergaing over 8 made per game this year while shooting over 39% from distance on the season. Golden State may also be getting back Stephen Curry for this game tonight and they have taken 3 out of the last 4 from Portland overall in this series.

I believe this game will totally be deteremined by the tempo of the game of course Portland would like half court sets and slow methodical pace and Golden State wants to get out and run on fast breaks and hoist up the 3ball we will see thats why they play the game right!
