I am siding with the Charlotte Bobcats Saturday to keep the Washington Wizards winless on the road this season. Washington is nearly halfway through their schedule, yet they still haven't tasted victory on the road. The Wizards are 0-17 SU & 5-12 ATS away from home this season, scoring just 94.6 PPG and allowing a ridiculous 109.1 PPG. As you can see, they are getting outscored by a whopping 14.5 PPG on the road this year. This young team just simply hasn't learned how to get it done away from home.

Charlotte is playing much better of late since making a coaching change. The Bobcats have won three of their last five, with their only losses coming by a single point against Golden State and to the red hot Miami Heat. Washington has not won back-to-back games all season, and coming off a win last night I don't expect them to break that trend, either. The Wizards will be playing the second of a back-to-back and their third game in four days, while the Bobcats will be playing with 2 days' rest and only their 2nd game in 5 days. The Wizards are 0-8 ATS following a win this season, losing by an average of 14.7 PPG in this spot.

Memphis Grizzlies +7 @ Oklahoma City Thunder (1 Unit)

Memphis is the real deal this season. The Grizzlies may only be 17-19 on the year, but they have several close losses and have played a very difficult schedule. Still, this squad has proven they can compete against the best the league has to offer.

The Grizzlies have won 3 straight against winning teams in the Lakers, Thunder and Jazz, and are 10-0 ATS in their last 10 vs. a team with a winning record. Getting them as a 7-point underdog tonight is an absolute gift from odds makers, and we'll gladly take advantage.

Memphis is 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games as an underdog, including 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog of 5.0-10.5. The underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in this series and we'll side with the dog tonight showing great value

Marquette @ Pittsburgh -8 (NCAAB) 1 Unit

Look for Pitt to flex its muscles at home against Marquette this afternoon. Pitt is an awesome 7-0 ATS in home games when playing against a good team (Win Pct. 60% to 80%) after 15 or more games over the last 3 seasons, defeating these teams by an average score of 81.7 to 66.2.

In addition, the Panthers are a tremendous 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games as a home favorite of 7.0-12.5 points.

The Packers and Eagles combined for 47 points in the season's first meeting, and I'm expecting another strong offensive effort to result in the Over today.

The Clippers are finally playing up to their potential, going 6-3 in their last nine games overall with very solid wins against the likes of Chicago, Phoenix and Denver. Los Angeles is playing on 3 days' rest so they'll be fresh and ready to go tonight.

Golden State is just 6-15 on the road this year, where they are scoring 99.2 points/game and allowing a ridiculous 106.3 points/game. The Warriors are 1-8 ATS (-7.8 Units) after successfully covering the spread in 2 or more consecutive games this season.

The Clippers are 8-1 ATS (+6.9 Units) after playing 2 consecutive home games this season. The Clippers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a SU win of more than 10 points. Los Angeles is 15-6-1 ATS in their last 22 vs. Western Conference foes.

The Los Angeles Lakers are playing better, but they still have not been dominant here over the past month. In fact, fading the defending champions has been a very prosperous move at the pay window.. The Lakers are just 7-16 ATS in their last 23 games overall, and are too heavily favored tonight against a much-improved New York Knicks team that has proven they can play with anyone.

The Knicks are 21-14 SU & 23-11-1 ATS in all games this season.

New York has been particularly tough on the road, going 11-7 SU & an amazing 14-4 ATS this year. They have won three straight with home victories over the Pacers and Spurs followed by an impressive 121-96 road win at Phoenix two nights ago. New York is a remarkable 17-3 ATS after 1 or more consecutive wins this season, including 9-1 ATS off a road win this year.

This LA team has been streaky, and I would not be surprised one bit to see them go into L.A. tonight and steal a road win for their fourth straight victory.

Notre Dame @ Marquette -3 (NCAAB) 3 units (*pick of the day*)

The Golden Eagles allowed Pitt to shoot 60% from the field Saturday and only lost the game by 8 points for a 4th straight cover. That poor defensive effort should inspire a much stronger one as Marquette looks to pay the Irish back for an overtime loss at home last season.

Marquette is 9-1 at home this season, and it will be happy to return to its home floor tonight after back-to-back road games. This contest presents a major challenge for Notre Dame as it is just its 2nd true road game of the season. It lost by 12 at Syracuse in its first.

Marquette has been one of the best investments in Big East play of late, going 18-7-1 ATS in its last 26 conference clashes.

The Irish rely heavily on the 3-point shot, and I believe that will prove to be problematic for them tonight as the Eagles really pick up their defensive intensity. Under coach Williams, Marquette is a perfect 6-0 ATS versus teams who attempt 21 or more 3 point shots per game on the season after 15+ games. The Golden Eagles are defeating these teams by an average score of 77.3 to 66.3.

Yeah threw the dreaded red highlighter on the Griz selection at HT. Watched it live and they were awful. Yeah it was early and miracles do happen but the Grizz were never covering the spread at that stage.
