i like the game as a revenge angle to the opening night loss, and playing the heat off a su loss to utah.

i actually thought the line would be 4-5....not thrilled with the 6.5 but maybe its a case of the books wanting us to take boston. i was waiting for the line to come down, but i noticed a few books just bumped this up to 7 so i didnt want to wait.

I get the revenge angle and thinking the heat will come out fired up off the utah loss. But if you thought the Heat should be favored by 4.5 then why would you ever take them at 6.5? I don't think the books made this line so high to get people on Boston. I think the books made the line trying to get even action on both sides and it's pretty close to that.

well, this is a debate that can go on and on. do books create lines to get even action, or do they sometimes want you to play a certain side cause they have "sharp" feelings on the outcome? i vote more for A, but do think sometimes they make a certain line to get more action one way.

why did i still play it? cause i never let the books scare me off a game. i waited to see if the line would drop, and it doesnt look like it will.

3-1......i update records every monday.

next A1 is playing the bobcats sat over utah.
A2 on the Suns 11/15 fading the nuggets.

and i think i will fade the celtics who lost su to cle last game after they beat mia - memphis on 11/13 will be played

Dexter why not play Magic 1H? They are so much better in the 1H at home than they are for the full game and that isn't just this year. This has been the case for years.

I never said I liked them. I was just wondering why it was you were taking Heat despite getting a much higher than expected line. I couldn't decide on the game, I thought matchup wise the Heat could not beat Celtics by more than 7. But then the line was 6.5 up to 7 then +7 +100 for Celtics before tip. I was confused on the game.
