I see a few 153's out there.. Waiting for one of my sites to get there so I don't have to lay an extra 10 cents.. It's very interesting to me that you feel a half point on a 153 point total is worth 10% of your bet. I was very surprised to see the "buy hook" note. If you don't mind me asking, what was your reasoning behind that half point purchase?

Also, I can't even buy the hook on 5Dimes if I wanted too.. I took reduced juice when I signed up, but even when I go to the -110 lines I don't have the option.. Whatever, IMO no half point is worth 15% anyways.. I'll take Under 152.5 -105 if the line doesn't move.

You should be able to buy points on 5Dimes even if your account is flagged as "Reduced Juice". I have the same type of account and was able to under the regular WNBA selection at -110, then the dropdown window appears after I selected the under. If you can't you should call them.

Why buy the hook? Because the key number for me is 153 and at the time I bought it Bookmaker was at 152 and 5Dimes was 152.5.

Ace - 2H bets in WNBA are easier to call than NBA. But just look at tonight's game, the line opened at 10/10.5, went to 8, and at the half with the Mystics up 13 they were still favored for the 2H. The 2H play on the Mystics was a no-brainer.

I don't rely on public %'s especially in WNBA, the 2 sources most people use (SBR and Sportsinsights) are not reliable in my opinion.

The line opened at 159 on Pinnacle and has jumped over 8 points. I generally like to fade a line that has moved more than 5-6 points, particularly in this case where Tulsa has lost 6 straight overall and their defense has been horrid. I believe they will play tough defense tonight, and with NY struggling themselves offensively I like the under at this number.

I also played Tulsa ML simply because they have lost significant market value with the public, yet they have owned NY over the years and NY is no better this year even with the additions of Poindexter and Pierson.
