Roag, I've been tailing your WNBA and soccer picks and have been enjoying them as well as showing a profit. Thank you. I do have a question though. And please understand, it is a question, not a criticism. Tonight all 4 picks were tied to overs in one form or another in the Linx/Liberty game. And total amount of the 4 bets came to roughly 1/4 of the total BR (both starting amount and profit). There was a similar situation a few nights ago and that one paid off for all of us. But I couldn't help thinking then -- as well as tonight -- that if there is a low-scoring quarter in each half, or if one of those teams has an off night (as happened with the Liberty tonight) all 4 of those bets are going down. So even though the Lynx prevailed we lost out on that. As I said, this is a question, not a complaint. I accept losses along with wins. The question is, have you found that betting aggressively on one aspect of a game (an over, for instance; the expectation of a high-scoring night) has paid off well in the past? That you end up making bigger gains in the long run when you feel that strongly about a game? I ask this because that is one of the things I'm trying to learn here. I think I'm someimtes too conservative in my approach. I look forward to your answer and your next picks.

One of the most successful professional gamblers I know uses a similar strategy albeit less often. You have to drop the nuclear bomb every once in awhile when you're playing with house money, or you can never double your roll consistently. For this project to reach it's goal, I have to be more aggressive and attack a game when I feel strongly about it. Of course, hindsight is 20/20 but I did not expect the Liberty to shoot so poorly. My other lean was the under on the Sky/Sun game and it went way over, so no matter what it was going to be a bad night, and that's going to happen.

The only WNBA game started today at 12. You can still follow and take the 2H UNDER and you actually get it at 187 for the game.

I'm in college and am takin a course over the summer grabbin some extra credit and easy GPA points, so I was in class this morning and just completely missed the entire game.. Unfortunately he's a pro now, so we don't get the benefit of his plays without paying. But SJ and I are usually on the same page, I just didn't make the right call on today's game. I should have known to take the over with that total so high. SJ is a great researcher and capper himself.
