Ya, I wish I would have tracked my NBA units for the whole year but since I didn't start from the beginning I didn't want to start in the middle. I did end up tracking them for the whole NBA playoffs and finished +36 UNITS.

I must admit though that it will take me time to figure out which plays in the WNBA warrant a bigger than normal play. I want to really watch all of the teams play a few times before I have the confidence to make a bigger sized play on any game. It's just tough for me because I am so used to the NBA where I know all of the players so well. I understand the situations, line movement, trends, and stats in this league but I don't have a great read on the actual individual players. I want to be able to figure out where the mismatches will be in every game.

Leaning Mercury -2 tomorrow night. They have been playing terribly lately but did some up with a convincing win last game by 15 against NY. Bad teams win in bunches and facing a very weak opponent in the Sparks is just what Phoenix needs. They will play confidently tomorrow coming off the big win and knowing that their opponent is inferior.
The Mercury have not been favored on the road in a long time, I think they are correctly favored and will win. The Sparks simply can't keep up offensively with Phoenix. LA is averaging a pathetic 67ppg their last 5 games. Phx is averaging 90ppg their last 5 games. I feel confident about this one so I will be putting 2 units on it. All my plays are for one unit unless I say otherwise.

Mercury -2 LOCKED (x2)

Leaning toward the Sun +1 tomorrow. They are a perfect 5-0 off a loss so far this year. They are matched up with a very bad San Antonio team. SA is 1-3 their last 4 and 2-5 their last 7. The latest wins for SA have come against two teams playing very badly and below .500 in Minnesota and Phoenix. The other win was against Tulsa, worst team in the WNBA by far. Most sites opened up at SA -1/-1.5 and have stayed there thusfar. Connecitcut has won the last three meetings in this matchup including a 81-68 win at home vs SA June 6th. I am going to wait a little on this one to see more accurate public betting numbers and line movement.

I am going to roll with an early play on the Sky +3. The Sky have been hot as of late winning four of their last five. Their last loss actually came against their opponent Indiana. They lost by 6 about ten days ago at home to Indiana 70-64. Their are two reasons I think the Sky will win this game tomorrow. #1 In that Indiana win they shot nearly 60% from 3's, I don't see that happening again. #2 Jia Perkins was held to her season low of 2 points and 1 assists in that game, I do not see that happening again either. Sylvia Fowles was also held to 11 points in that game, 10 points is her low for the season. In the two games after that Sylvia dominated and scored 26 and 22 points. She will play better tomorrow night.

I think the Sky win this game with revenge in their minds. Indy is a good team but their is a reason why the oddsmakers are giving nearly the same line in this game as in the last matchup despite Indy winning by 6 and still having the better record now.

Also going to be taking a good look at the Storm 1Q tomorrow. Seattle is hot right now and loves to jump out on their opponents early. They are 4-0 their last 4 1st quarters vs NY. They are also 4-0 their last 4 1Q's at home vs NY with mostly BIG wins in the 1Q. Most of the home wins have come by 7+ points in the 1Q with a few double digits wins in the 1Q. This one is sure to be juiced by most sites, if not that it may be a sign to stay away.

These are NY's road 1Q so far this year. They are 1-3 their last 3 1Q's on the road. They are 4-4-1 all year with wins against TUL (worst team), SA (really bad team, especially early in the year when they played), CONN and WAS.

The Storm are a 9 point favorite yet the 1Q line on TheGreek is -3 which is indicative of a 12 point favorite. The linesmakers are strongly pointing in the direction that the Storm are a great 1Q team.
Pinnacle is still offering -2 -115 so I am jumping all over this right now.

I feel the least confident with the Sky but I'm still liking them. Indy played picture perfect last game while the Sky played terrible and Indy only won by 6. I think the Sky will at least be two buckets better tonight and cover.

I am not going to look at the line movement or public betting numbers on that game. My eyes don't deceive me, SA is a really bad team. That line movement is most probably because RAS/Hoopsedge is on the Silver Stars.

The Sun have to go to Atlanta tomorrow, I hate to say it but the Stars are the right play tonight as far as I'm concerned. That doesn't mean they will win, it just means that taking all factors into consideration I would bet the Stars.

I am not sure the Sun going to Atlanta tomorrow is a bad thing. They know that game will be a lot tougher so this is the one road game they should really put forth the most effort to make sure they don't go 0fer on these two road games. We'll see what happens.

Teams look ahead no matter what situation they are in or how weak of a team they are playing, it happens in every sport. I said yesterday this was a very tough call and with the line movement it shows it could go either way. I'm going to watch it from start to finish, unless it's a Sun blowout (which I hope for you!).
