Those were always value bets for me. I could always make up that one unit with a small bet on the Suns at some point, but having a +560 ticket in your back pocket is a great position to be in. The Suns have really impressed me in this series, and I never thought I'd hear the phrase "the Blazers are being suffocated by the Suns defense"...

Dunno what to do with this... This is an ideal spot to take the profit and walk away. I initially thought of 2 options:

ATL (series +113) x4.04u for 3.56u profit
PARLAY (+162): ATL (series) / Cavs (series) x3.28u for 4.3u profit

The ATL hedge is obviously 100% assured, but I have to think that the Cavs series is only going to end one way...

Then I decided to make this a LOT more fun and see what happens. Instead of the above options, I made a 3 way hedge:

1) Original Bet: Bucks (series +760) 1u to win 3.86u
2) Atlanta Hawks (series +113) 2.77u risked to win 1u
3) PARLAY: Hawks (series) / Thunder -1.5 / Jazz -4.5 / Cavs (series) / Penguins (series) 1.05u risked to win 7.6u

But since (2) & (3) have ATL in common, if (3) hits I'll actually net 13.3u. Worst case scenario, I'm up 1u on the whole transaction. I did play the Bucks series price for fun after all...

The Jazz have a ton of trouble with tall teams like the Lakers normally. I like them to cover the +11.5 I just played, as I feel they will adjust to compensate for their past problems dealing with the Lakers height. Hoever, just watching the game so far, they're not even competing for the rebounds. When the Lakers shooting starts to cool off from the current 79%, then we'll see what happens.
