If you're in a backed-up line in the grocery store lineup, and you see the line next to you open up, don't you make the assumption that it would be the smart choice to move over there? I think the large majority of bettors are overly confident in the notion that line movement indicates a winner, but really it's all about observing how a line moves at different times and the underlying reasons behind those movements.

A shift from -1.5 to -2.5 can mean very different things depending on betting volumes and other factors.

Why would so many be viewing if he wasn't winning?

My advice to this poster would be this... Go thru the 60 pgs are so of post and tell us what his record is if you want to know. You don't have to grade the picks. LB, graded them as they were completed.

I don't know why but I like Houston tonight, against Lakers (no Gasol and game time decision Artest) Hou is playing well against the Lakers lately. We'll see, just wanted to ask what you guys think, especially LB since you're the king of this NBA forum

Besides LakerBoy of course I've been tailing djpremier, dexter, lyon804, Laker_crazy, landers781, MexicanStallion, Busterflywheel, williams22 (whose thread I also like very much) and I must say I saw lots of great predictions and game observations from you guys. i think what makes LB so good is that he waits till the last minute analyzing the games, and watching the movement...i think posting earlier would create a disadvantage

after following his picks for a while (not tailing) it's hard to think otherwise..... LB's thread damn near crashes SBR server a couple mins prior to game time...
