I found all of the news on NBA.com. If you view a preview for each game, it will tell you which players are likely to miss the game. Dampier didn't play in their last game, before last night, and the preview stated he wouldn't play last night. He didn't.

Anthony and Billups have been out for Denver.

Milwaukee was the only official play last night and it was a winner.

I have been watching these posts intently for a while...If I am correct, I have the Hornets as a play at (-9.5). The line opened at -10, but I believe now becomes a play. Does everyone agree?

I'm new to following this, but saw this earlier in the thread

"The system uses only opening lines and does not follow line movement at all. Plays are made only on opening lines."

If that's the case, would New Orleans be eliminated since it opened higher?

Does anyone have a W/L record for the opening line plays and plays that cross the threshold into a play (for example - The Hornets last night)? I realize the system calls for opening line, but common sense would lead one to believe that if I spread on the fave decreases, then why should it not be a play at -9.5 when it was originally -10.5...I am in no way questioning the system, I followed it last year and it worked well...I am merely just trying to help potentially make it better by understanding how it works.

i haven't been keeping up with it, but i believe they are 1-3. i could be way off.

i think the ones where the spread was on the bubble of -10, where at -9.5 it became a play, have all been losers.

This injury happened in pre-game warm-ups. I had already played LAC and wasn't able to cancel my wager. This is technically a system play loss as the plays are based upon opening lines.

I'm not sure how this would be a loss.

1) There was an injury, so I thought it would be a no play. Even though based on opening lines, I'm presuming (correct me if I'm wrong) that if injury information comes out during the day, the correct thing to do would be to get off the game. Or is it just if the injury information is known overnight?


2) You had to have won your bet. The Clippers only lost by 2. The line was never that low.


So I could understand either a no play or a win, but not sure why it would count as a loss and would appreciate the explanation of why it would count as a loss.
