Hello Kev,

do you think it is better not to buy 3 points and do the recovery strategy you are using? I did a similar recovery in mlb sweep system, simply divided my loss through 4 or 5 and put that on the next upcoming bets. I think it is similar to yours and was well worth it.

On my book I get -220 odds when buying 3 points, that is quite a lot.

Are you asking me if it is better not to buy the points during a recovery? If so, my answer is no. Last year, across all 3 versions there were 15 series failures from 178 series without point buying, compared with only 2 series failures, point buying, across all 3 versions over the same number of series. So, there is a great risk of another non point buying series failing during any recovery process.

Subtract the two amounts and wager the difference. Then pick up the normal full wager amount in the losing team's next game. Unless of course my Chase 110 play is a M/L bet, then play full amount of both wagers in the head-head game. This will happen quite often when playing multiple systems.

Assuming Cleveland is favored. Had these two teams been playing different teams our wagers would be as follows:
Cleveland for 15.01 units
Detroit for 3.05 units (since (A) bet was a M/L loss)

Since they are playing each other, you would be placing only one wager on Cleveland for 11.96 units (15.01-3.05).

If Cleveland wins, then Detroit's next game would be a (C) bet, so bet normal (C) bet amount, which in this case would be 6.41 units.

If Detroit wins the head-head, then in essance, you got paid for the Detroit win since your Cleveland series would now be over because the (C) bet was lost, and the Cleveland total loss was actually 3.05 units less than it should have been. In doing this, you saved paying the juice on 3.05 units on Cleveland.

But as I said, if Detroit is favored, then bet both teams as you normally would since Detroit would be a M/L play in my Chase 110.
