Happy New Year Everybody on my SBR Anniversary!
We will ALWAYS play the M/L on favorites and the point spread (-110) on dogs. The team underlined and highlighted blue is the play. There is no point buying in this system, with one exception, if your team is the favorite, and buying down to a (-½) point spread is cheaper than playing the M/L, then by all means, buy the points, otherwise, M/L on all favorites and point spread on dogs. All results will be based on this principle. All lines and standings are based on FINAL lines from ScoresandOdds.com/. If one of the teams we are playing switches from a favorite to a dog, after my initial post, make sure you get the appropriate line if it differs from what I have posted. The wins and losses will be based on who is the dog team, and who is the favorite on ScoresandOdds.com/ final lines. I will try to update my post as often as I can throughout the day if the lines do change. However, it is the individual bettor’s responsibility to get the appropriate line if it differs from the line in my post.
System rules and backtest can be found in posts #44 & #45.Last edited by Wallco99; 01-01-14, 02:03 AM.Comment -

#994Happy New Year, Wallco, Kevin, The Limit, JM Disciple, and anyone else I forgot! Thanks for all the time you spent on these systems, especially the back testing. I know how time consuming that is. And thanks for sharing with the rest of us.

#995Shit happenns, you've got to move on. There was no malice on your part just an honest mistake. I know where you are coming from though, believe me if anyone does, I do. But Knugen and everyone realizes you are doing this as a favor to them, without any compensation and I am sure no one holds a grudge, with the exception of the trolls, whose opinion matters to no one anyway. Forget about it, it's over. On to new bets and a new year.Comment -

#1002Kevin,
I know New York was filtered out of the Morrison system as published on 12/28. However, would they be a V1 play for both the published and 1-7-5 systems for today (in addition to the V2 "B" bet for 1-7-5)? I don't know if the filters apply to the qualifying plays for V1 when they start in-conference.Comment -

#1003Kevin,
I know New York was filtered out of the Morrison system as published on 12/28. However, would they be a V1 play for both the published and 1-7-5 systems for today (in addition to the V2 "B" bet for 1-7-5)? I don't know if the filters apply to the qualifying plays for V1 when they start in-conference.
Thanks for picking this up. The spreadsheet I inherited from this thread does not have New York starting a V1 series today, hence I've not listed it. They lost heavily in conference at the A Bet in the V2 series, so they are a V1 play tonight.
So, moving on, we need to establish, for the published system only, if Carmelo Anthony is playing tonight. ESPN.com has him on the team sheet although scoresandodds.com list him as only probable. So, shortly I will post the team as a play with a health warning to check the roster before tip-off. This filter is not applicable to the 1-7-5 and 1-7-5 (Filtered) systems, so go ahead and place an A Bet on them ATS.
Once again, thanks.
Regards

#1004I was looking over your back testing for your system. It seems to me, if I am reading it correctly, that the (A) bets have a great win percentage. Wouldn't you just want to play them straight up? I understand you might have some favorites on the money line, but it still should be profitable.
Have you thought about chasing just the (A) bets only from one team to another as they appear? If there are multiple plays at the same time, you just run 2 or 3 chases at the same time?
I am just trying to help out.Comment -

#1005He's listed as "probable" on CBS Sports site. Also, they say this:
"After missing his team's last three outings, Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony will give it a go Thursday night against the Spurs, according to Newsday."

#1007JM 1-7-5 Bonus Play for v1
New Orleans lost their in-conference v2 (A) game by more than 3 points to the spread. Their next game, (1/3/14), will be a v1 (A) bet as well as a v2 (B) bet, since their next three games are on the road and out-of-conference.Last edited by Wallco99; 01-03-14, 12:36 AM.Comment -
