Im not going to get into with you Zack but you lost on my plays for Sunday? I never posted my plays on Sunday because if you look at Sundays thread I didnt bet any because I got hooked on the Steelers game. Also I have had 2 losing days in the NHL so far this year so I guess you just happened to only play my pics on those 2 days. Sounds like the same thing the guy said who only picked the two losing pc plays.

You want to bash my NHL calls thats fine but I have over 100 people who do follow them and have won at a high level. Also I dont have time to post my records as in my eyes unless I am selling my pics it doesnt matter. If you want to fade me then please do but dont talk nonsense in this thread. I'm on board with Denver, Charlotte, and Atlanta...but I'm telling you DON'T bet against the MAGIC. They are in the same league as BOS and CLE, but do not get the inflated lines yet.

CK I have to point out something here. u claim to have riden the Gmen until the wheels fell off, but u and I know thats not true story. actually, one of the PC loses was Bmore against the Gmen. The only play u was wit the Gmen was -4 in the playoffs and they lost. Anyway, today I like MIA -1.5.

Showtime, I love Minny tonight but there is 1 problem. Backstrom is Questonable with the flu and Harding is 1-5 as the back-up. This was going to be my play of the night but I need info before I can lay my money.

I don't know when the next one will be. I usually get the call the night before. I am assuming that since football is basically over, they wil be less frequent, but you can be sure that they will be coming!

Line movement has to do with the spread its'self, and how it moves in correlation to the amounts of bets on one side. if the public is all over a specific team then the line should go higher. If the public is all over a favored team and the line goes down, or the public is all over a dog and the line goes up or inceases if you will, that's called reverse line movement.

In the case of your game in question, Detroit opened as a 8 point faorite, and consensus numbers from Sportsinsights indicates that the public loves Detroit in this game 66-34%. Yet in spite of that love from the public, the line for this game went down to Detroit-7, without the line ever stopping at 7.5. That is significant, as the line went from a key number(8) to below it (7). However, as rosthawg pointed out for the board, 7 is quickly becoming a new key number this year as well. if you already have Detroit, do yourself a favor and put a few dollars on Charlotte's moneyline.

A typical NBA spread of 8 should have a corresponding moneyline of -360/+280 or so. With the Bobcats line being +260, Detroit's moneyline should be-350, not -320, which is a moneyline for a typical -6.5 line. So since the moneyline and the reverse line movement are not consistent with the spread, Charlotte looks like a solid play with a hook or a point added on.

Dex, It seems like the two biggest premium plays being given out today are Bradley and Kansas ST. That is probably a big reason for all the love also.

Rip Hamilton is expected to return tonight so we're looking at some minute-mixing on the Pistons part. Curry is planning to go with a small lineup of Stuckey, Iverson, Hamilton, Prince, and Wallace (if he plays). If Wallace doesn't play, I assume they'll start either Amir Johnson or Kwame Brown. Either way, the Bobcats look even like an even better play now. I was leaning to play the total too but now I'm not sure how the Pistons will adjust to Rip coming back.

Also going to take the Hawks to finally get a cover against the suns +7 is just way to many points to be given the hawks who are hungry for a win and after a disappointing lose to the sixers i see them playing with inspiration they might not win but most likely will get that cover

I am in a quandray right now, because the llnemovement says to take the Suns, and the Morrison system indicates that i should take the Hawks. So do i go with the tested system that hits at a 80% clip, or go with a single day's line movements?
