much like the jazz in salt lake (except for last night) - i love me some kings in arco. as ive mentioned before, they have been burning tickets at home this year, but now kmart is back. he and salmons form a very nice duo, and i expect the kings to give it all they got tomorrow catching 9 pts. the magic are coming off a huge road win in santonio, and i see a letdown and a lookahead (lakers up next). kings won outright last year at home as a 7 pt dog, and don't be surprised to see the same.

like the way the bobcats play ball on the road (10-6 ats). brown is one of the best in the league, and i look for him to have his troops ready for his old team - pistons are just 6-11 ats at the palace. detroit coming back home for their first game off of a 4 game west coast trip - they cant even settle back in, as they are on the road again wed. pistons have covered both games in charl this year - i look for brown to billboard that as motivation.

josh howard will be out again for the mavs game @ denver. i think the nuggets are a very solid team with the addition of billups, and look for them to be hungry to get back into the W column at home vs a cold mavs team (dropped 5 in a row ats). kidd is a shell of his former self, and i expect billups to toy with him all night. the nuggets have covered 6 in a row vs the mavs, and 3 straight in the rocky mountains. nuggets roll.

I think Orlando mops by 12+, they're a pretty focused team right now going against a Kings team that yes has played well as of late, however with Hedo on a hot streak, Dwight being Dwight and Rashard and Nelon chippin in, easy big win. The Kings are going to have to deal with huge size match ups:

Udrih vs Nelson (very strong)
Salmons vs Turks
Lewis' speed and athleticism vs ??? whoever the kings play at PF
D12 vs Brad Miller....toooo slow

The suns are playing good basketball as of lately, Atlanta is 0-5 against the spread in it's last 5 games, phoenix is 8-3 ats in it's last 11 home games in atlanta, the absence of al horford will be missed by atlanta, im expecting the suns to dominate the paint with shaq and stoudemire.

Detroit in it's last 5 wins have won by an average of 4.8 points, so as of lately when they win they win close 8pts to the bobcats seems like toomuch chalk, this year bobcats know how to cover on the road having an amazing 10-5 ats on the road , enough said

Miami dont mess around when it comes to minnesota, but something is fishy about this liine, i cant really decide n miami or minnesota, bth looks capable of covering but what do standout in this game is that a lot of points happens to be scored in minny maybe it's the court, im leaning towards the over

someone has dropped a few bricks on the steelers this weekend. 64% of the early money is on the ravens, yet the line has gone up from 5 to 6. steelers and cards are my early leans. eagle line is doing what it should be..

Can anybody see a sound reason not to take the lakers tomorrow? .. Other than thier crap form of late. Sure they havent covered in 4 of thier last 5, but they are still doing enough to chalk up the wins. I think Kobe owns Tmac and the rockets are overrated. The rockets are only 6-10 ATS at home this season. The lakers smashed the rockets at the start of the season by 30 odd points after trailing double digits at the end of the 1st quarter. My main concern is that LA have a tough stretch coming up playing (record wise) the top two teams in the east and the second best team in the west (lakers being #1) : Spurs on the road and then the Magic and the Cavs at home.
Remember at the start of the season when they were a covering machine, they gotta get it back sometime..

Lovin the hawks game, suns have been failing to cover all season and Hawks have been covering as dogs all season. Horford will be missed though. Still i think they hang close. Over looking kinda nice too.. Two atheletic teams that love to push the ball...

I would stay as far away from Atlanta as you can get...on paper (ATS) they look like the sure bet, with the Hawks 54.3%ATS/Suns 38.2%. The last 4 games the Hawks are 1-4 (0-4 ats) (3 home) giving up 112 ppg. Their defense was the reason for their early success, and as of late, it has been atrocious! It does not look like it will get better any time soon, going west to play.

Atlanta's leading shot blocker and rebounder. Horford is hurt and will not travel. The hawks fg% over the last 3 games is 43.2%

Phoenix is home winning the last 3-4 (3 home) (1-3 ATS) including a short trip to LA and a lost to hot shooting Pacer team. The Suns fg% over the last 3 games is 50.1 %. O'Neil is hot right now and should play well, hitting free throws and all.

The Suns have not been covering the big spreads, with the lowest (last 4) being -7 and a win SU/ATS over Dallas. The Hawks defense will suffer tonight, they have a long western showdown ahead of them, and with the Suns Avg 104 ppg,(last 4) it appears to have the making for a nice home team win, especially at -6.5.

That is a sound finding, but the one that I know of is if a team comes home after a winless trip, you can always count on them to blow the incoming team out of the gym. Masterful work though. We may have to check the records of teams in that situation.

The Grizzlies are +9, you already know that the public is going to be ALL over the Cavs. I am gonna wait this one out until I see the line dip even just one iota. Hell no, fpronk is good and he is a lot more brash than I am. But just think about it for a minute. I am here, I have my family with me, and we have 7,000 views a day. What logical reason would I have for continuing to post at Covers? We average more views per day on this ONE thread, than Covers gets on all of their threads combined. Not saying that the CK Mafia is bigger than Covers, but it's obvious that no one was coming to the Covers threads to see what goinggone and fish strap were taling about if you know what I mean.
