Okay I have only a little time to post my picks for today, and i can come back later to answer questions. This is Day of the Dog. Here's what I like.
Until I have a reason to stop doing it, I am riding the "Boston Hex" until the wheels fall off. Every team outsid eof the lakers that has beaten Boston has lost ats in their next game, with the exception of te lakers who beat the Warriors ats, who incidently beat the Celtics the night before. So I don't need to watch the consensus numbers or anything on this one. it's purely a system play.
Memphis+13.5 (projected)
I am a big fan of situational wagering. the T-Wolves have not lost this year. Okay maybe only in 2009. The T-Wolves are 4-1 straight up and 3-2 ats in ames at home against Miami. It doesn't help that Miami has had mechanical problems with their airplane went to the wire in Sacramento (overtime) and a nailbiter against the Lakers. No one can see this one coming. Give me them points and the home dog.
Minny+2 (The line will get bigger if I smoke on it for a while)
I like the Atlanta Hawks to get the job done against the Suns who broke their backers hearts with the ats failure against the Clips. I just don't think that the Suns are better 6.5 better than them. However, since this is a Morrison Play as well, I have to ride with it. The over in this game is 5-0 in games in Phoenix. Give me them points!
Hawks+7.5 or 8
detroit is coming home after a long grueling west coast trip to face the Bobcats a team that is definitely on the upswing. The Bobcats are a totally different team than the one that began the season. I like them having a chance to get the outright cover if not win. The line alone indicates that there is something up with this game,as the Pistons are usually favored by 11 points at home against the Bobcats. Detroit is out of gas, and they are facing the new look Bobcats for the first time. They are used to guarding just Gerald Wallace and Richardson, who is now gone. These Bobcats can score from all over the floor and they are pesky.
Bobcats+8 (Style's approved of this play which makes me like it more)
College parlay:
Akron-5.5
Ball State-5.5
Not one favorite on my card. So those are my plays for the day, let's see what y'all got....
*******UPDATE********
Final plays:
Minnesota+100 moneyline
Memphis Grizzlies+8.5
Charlotte+8
Denver-2 & Phoenix-3.5 (Teased)
