Wizards +11 @ Rockets

I know it seems like I'm on the Wizard's nuts, but this team is better than their record. I know a lot of people have trouble betting on this team and I think that's where the value lays. Wizards coming off of a great come from behind win against the Pelicans Hornets, and I think that momentum can carry over. The Rockets are a little banged up, with Harden and Lin. This line seems inflated by about 4 points! I smell a backdoor cover!!!!

WINNER!!! This game went a bit iffy at times, but the Wizards didn't quit and actually made a late run. Wizards lost by 6 and as I predicted, the line was inflated by about 4 points. Do NOT sleep on this Wizards squad, they are a great value against middle tiered NBA teams.

Nice hit dude, dunno if you watched the game but I came away thinking the Rockets are not a very polished team at all. So many wide open shots for the Wiz and a ton of sloppy offense for Houston. I think they have to be a little overrated at this point possibly a bet against team going forward

#1 Lakers -5 @ Wizards

Lakers looked good in the 2H against the Knicks. Unfortunately, the Lakers have a nasty habit of falling into deep holes, only to claw their way out and fall back in. Tonight, I think the Lakers come out hungry and put this game away mid way through the third. The Wizards are just the team the Lakers need to see. This game will be similar to the Lakers @ Pelicans contest.

#2 Celtics +3 @ Rockets This line has reached 3 points at with my book and is 2.5 at many others. I think the Celtics win this game straight up, but wait til you can grab 3. The Rockets are still a lil banged up and the Celtics appear to have found some mojo on the defensive end. I think these teams are starting to head in different directions. Celtics appear to be on the up swing and the Rockets on the down. This line almost looks backwards.

#1 WINNER! Lakers played with some intensity in the 2H, but they did not play any defense on a three ball to end the game, that most likely cost a lot of late bettors. Glad I got down early.

#2 LOSER!! Celtics played a decent 1h and then were absolute sh!t in the 2H. The whole team was bricking easy jumpers and blowing layups. This was an awful play on my part. I clearly have guzzled too much of the shamrock kool-aid, this season. Lesson learned.

Not a horrible day, but it would obviously have been better if I had just stuck to my initial play of the Lakers. Oh well, like a toddler, I had a little juice.

The Lakers are without a true point guard and it has been showing. Their offense clicks at times, but for the most part they are out of sync. The Lakers have failed to win back-to-back games for almost a month! A month! That streak ends today against the 76ers. I have a feeling the Lakers will abandon the typical D'antoni script of run and gun. I think Howard will get fed the ball in the low post and you'll see Jodie Meeks score well above his season average, against his former team. I see some value in this line. If HolidaIy misses the game, I like the Lakers chances even more.

WINNER!!! The Lakers won every quarter, but the 4th. While the Lakers didn't feed Howard as much as I thought they would, he still got his touches. The stat that caught my attention was the number of three's that the Lakers put up (34.) Meeks had a solid game and in the end, the 76ers are a much different team without Holiday controlling the ball flow. Glad to get a WIN to close out the week.

I know, I know, this selection seems crazy, the Kings were just blown out and embarrassed by the Nuggets. Tonight the Kings play with pride and remain competitive for 4 quarters. Losers of 4 straight games, the Kings were just blown-out and I'm sure the players are eager to redeem themselves against a below average Suns team. Conversely, the Suns have reeled off 2 in a row and are probably overlooking the Kings. Look for Cousins to have a great game and really pound the glass. This game should come down to the final possession and I'll be happy to have the points.

LOSER!!! Well phuck a Chinese duck! We didn't have much luck! The Kings came out hard in the 1H and were up 11 points at the half, 18 with the spread. Then the 2H started and the Queens get outscored by 17! Cousins didn't do anything of note and it looked like the Queens just quit towards the end. I may have jumped on the Kings a touch early.
