Nah I had no idea man, I booked it really early in the day. I've been sick and went straight to sleep after placing it...I'm just glad I had enough discipline to outlay only 1 unit. I just cant believe how poor their bench is, any time they vs a deep team no matter what the line i'll be fading Portland. In other news, how have you been traveling? Any NBL plays? I haven't been posting mine because most of them have been last minute bombs but I put the hammer on the Crocs +6.5 against the Wildcats the other day, felt good to hit a winner.

They looked good most of the game but I just feel like it is asking too much of Lillard, Batum, Matthews and Hickson to some extent to carry the team for 48 minutes.

You play that bench too long and it is game over.

Breakers started really well but just went down hill, every second offensive possession the Wildcats would get atleast one offensive board...it was sickening. No boxing out. Cedric was getting hounded as well from the moment he got the ball in the back court, he still had some nice moments. My highlight was watching him in the warm up, guy is so cocky and confident I love it, he's strolling around the court during the warm up then starting throwing him self off the glass dunks and reverse dunking, was awesome. He has incredible hops, I love the guy.

Spurs @ Wizards

Wizards had a heart breaking few games, came so close to recording their first win vs Charlotte and their last 5 games have been decided by less than 7 points. The Spurs are rolling however they have been trailing the majority of the game twice now and came back to win it in the fourth, they are also playing their 3rd game in 4 nights and are on a b2b road trip playing after a double OT. Parker/Duncan played 40+ minutes and Ginboli notched 35 mins. I believe the Wizards can put themselves in a position to win this game or at least cover but they need to put in work. Production from Seraphin is important, he has put together some good games however he is erratic and will need to be at his best here. Ariza has an opportunity to impress his coach who has been changing their roster up through various games, Ariza has the athleticism to trouble the Spurs who are missing Jackson/Leonard. The Spurs are yet to play a road trip back to back and the only b2b they've played was a narrow win over the Thunder, what I think will effect the Spurs most is that on a b2b missing two key players they could tire. Against a hopefully upbeat Wizards team hungry for a win I am expecting at least a cover here.

If Washington Bullets have any pride left they should come out hungry for the W. The Spurs have been on the ropes the last two games. Its a great spot for the Bullets to capitalize. I wacked on 300 + SBR points on them @ 9. I Bought a point, i think they can keep it close @ home.

Sando and I have been chatting about this game and put our heads together wit this one. If you don't know who he is (obviously don't read sbr properly) check him out over at http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...nners-p30.html

I love the Rockets here for a number of reasons and I will try my best to convey my thoughts. Rockets playing good ball right now, they have had a real tough start to the season if you check their past games. They have had enough games now to get some what familiar with their rotations and one another. Houston have played solid ball at home, although their record may not reflect it they have not had many easy games there. Currently on a two game winning streak, both at home the Rockets are on a mini roll and appear to be dialed in and getting used to one another. A big part of this game is going to be the spotlight on Lowry vs his old team, I believe Lin will rise to the challenge in this match up as he has been criticized a lot within the media. Harden is a non issue here, he will get his buckets no one can guard him on the Raptor squad - the main difference maker will be Patterson/Parsons who have been absolutely stellar. An interesting matchup will be Asik against the rookie Valanciunas, I expect Asik to win this match up in flying colours and hustle and harass him constantly. The Rockets are top 5 in points per game and rebound per game, both are crucial stats in winning games, especially against a team like the Raptors who don't board well or score well. People have been getting on Bargnani's back about having a poor season and although he is not having a stand up season he can still score, he is just inconsistent, he is coming off a 2-19 performance with the Spurs - I will be hoping his slump continues, he will have to be pressured constantly throughout the game and hopefully will resort to bad shot selection with many 3 point attempts. Finally Kevin Mchale's daughter sadly passed in her mid 20's, this is such a tough loss and will devastate the whole Rockets community. I am banking on the Rockets to come out and play with emotion and play hard on both ends of the floor. This could work adversely as they could "over play" the basketball, i would be hesitant to take the Rockets in this spot of they weren't at home. However with the energy from the home crowd and the meaning behind this game I believe the Rockets will bury the Raptors.

Philly -3.5

I've been critical about Philly for many games but they have started to impress me since their win vs Utah. Since their home win vs Utah they are 4-1 at home, their only loss being in OT to the Thunder (OKC hit 3 3's in OT to seal the deal). The offense of Philly has been questionable but to me that is not what is winning them games, it's their grinding slow defensive style that has lulled their opponents to sleep. That been said Jrue Holiday has been a star and may have turned a corner in his last game posting incredible numbers, he should have no dramas continuing that against Dallas as he has considerable height over Collison. Holiday is also a good defender and will cause Collison a lot of dramas offensively. Dallas are extremely one dimensional and require big games from Mayo nightly to win games, he tweaked his ankle on Sunday and I am hoping this slows him down slightly - I still expect him to score but defensively he could be way off. T Young has been great for Philly recently, and Dallas don't really have a good defender to put on him he will be too quick for Brand. If he continues his play and doesn't settle for bad shots and works the paint I will be happy. The Sixers offense is slowly clicking and I believe they have many more options than Dallas. Come off the bench there are x factor players like Nick Young and Wright who are always could for some 3's - Richardson can also spark a run as he can nail some clutch 3's.
