#817Clippers -9 (2x)
Clippers 1H -5.5 (1x)
Clippers team total over 101.5 (1x)
Been thinking about this for awhile, I'm going to go out on a limb and pull the trigger on this. After a 6 game winning streak where the Clips looked like the best team in the West and arguably the league they took a turn and went 0-4 with some horrible losses. With some time off the Clippers can re-evaluate and they also welcome back another member to their already crazy deep team, Billups. I think the Clippers will be on point tonight and put the hammer on the Wolves. AK47 is a big out for the Wolves, he does so much work all over the court.

#818The Clippers have let me down in my last 3 bets on them. I too am hoping that they will be on their game tonight. I'm tailing these picks but only with small bets.
Awesome work on the Knicks pick! It's another profitable day no matter what the result is in this last game $$$. Cheers!Comment -

#823Heat -5.5 (4x)
Taking an early play on the Heat, have had this game circled for awhile. Miami have had some discouraging performances, barely escaping an Irving-less Cleavland and a lucky OT escape against the Bucks. They have had ample time to rest and discuss their current situation and rest assured they will be well prepared for this match up, Miami has performed poorly against elite teams thus far and this a perfect spot for them to get back on track against the NBA's best. On the flip side the Spurs don't have the luxury of rest that the Heat have had, they are on their 4th game in 5 nights and have been on a long road trip. I think Miami will prove to be too strong at home where they are 6-0, the fire power of the Heats offense is undeniable but it is their defense which I think will step up to the task in this match and be the difference. I expect Wade to get looks at Parker and Ginobli throughout the game and he should do a good job. Chalmers will also get minutes on Parker and will be aggressive and try and keep Tony from penetrating. Battier out hurts a little his defense will be missed but I believe Miami have the depth to not miss him, especially offensively. LeBron loves playing the Spurs and boasts really impressive numbers against them, he will get his. Wade has been questionable offensively however you could argue he has not been at his best health wise, this shouldn't be an issue with all the rest and there is no excuse for him to do damage. Bosh has been having a great season and I think he will hurt the Spurs, his range will take whoever is guarding him away from the paint which causes all sorts of issues when you have Wade/James penetrating and dishing, the Spurs help defense and rotations have to be absolutely perfect or they will get burned. I think that all the work the Spurs will have to do defensively will tire them and make their offensive execution later on in the game poor, or reversely their offense will be working but defense will be slow. Haslem will get minutes for simply rebounding and defensive purposes against all the possible bigs the Spurs can throw at you, i'm not sure if he gets the start or Miller but either way these two guys will get minutes, Haslem for a defensive role - Miller for an offensive role. I believe Miller will rise to the occasion if given the minutes, he thrives on opportunities and has a really impressive stat sheet against the Spurs. Lewis has been sat for back to back games, I believe he will see some time in this game as his length combined with his range will cause issues for the Spurs. Lewis and Allen are both shooting above 50% from the 3 point arc which is extremely impressive, namely Allen who has come up big for the Heat already in a number of close games. I expect Ray to step up his game to another level against the Spurs. Some issues facing Miami will be protecting the paint, the Spurs are averaging 45 per game which needs to be cut to around 35 in this match, for this to happen the old Miami Heat defense needs to come out to play which involves incredibly quick rotations and help defense by the guards to disrupt the post players - if this is executed Miami defensively should not have too many problems. I see the game starting close with Miami having a little bit of rust after their break but towards the end of the 2nd and beginning of the second half I can see the Heat putting the throttle down and getting a nice rhythm going.Last edited by therealdealau; 11-29-12, 03:21 AM.Comment -

#830Teams on back to backs on the road struggled tonight, making the heat play look alittle more intriquing tommorow. That 4th quarter in the clippers game was abysmal, did not think there was a chance it would that be close to the under when the game was at half.Comment -

#831I've been slack with write ups for everyone so I'll put some time aside today and make sure I get a write up for tomorrows game, it is after all my biggest play. I would advise any Aussies to take the -5.5 though asap if you wanna tail. Clippers were horrible, I genuinely thought this would be a perfect opportunity for them to blow out a team and get some confidence back.Comment -

They should roll her. I can see them starting slow because they haven't played for a few bays but they should run them out of the gym in the second half.Comment -

I really feel good about Miami here, long road trip for the Spurs. LeBron loves playing San An, dominates them. Battier out hurts a bit but not too much. Hopefully Wade is feeling good now after a long rest.Comment -
