First thoughts for tonight.. I like the Pacers one and probably will take it. About Sixers@Charlotte I think it will be a close one so I dont have a clear opinion. I dont like Bobcats but its a fact that they are hard to win in home (especially teams like 6ers). What u think about TWolves as I really like them (I think Kirilenko will be available). My thoughts exactly, I think the Bobcats are over achieving and the Sixers have had enough games to work out their offensive style without Iggy, they have too my size/quickness on the outside for the Bobcats - Young and Turner goin to cause match up issues and Holiday should shred. Rolling with the Lakers here but only small, I think they will pull themselves together and collect a solid win over a conference rival. Gasol has been disgusting lately and I feel that he will have a really good game tonight. He averages roughly 15 points and 12 boards against Denver and will have lots of nice looks with his jump shot over the smaller Denver players namely Faried. Kobe will have his work cut out for him as he will be hounded by Iggy all night but it's Kobe he'll produce, I expect him to have high assist. Howard will be needing to put in work, I cannot afford him to shoot less than 50% from the FT line either. Denver has the clear advantage in the point guard position but hopefully the secondary help defence and rotations by the Lakers will minimize the impact of the playmakers Lawson/Miller. I believe MWP will do a decent job on Iggy and defensively the Lakers have decent matchups all over the floor minus the PG position. The Laker bench has been interesting and inconsistent, I expect them to be on point tonight they have had enough time now there is no excuse. Jamison had a break out game recently and I believe he will have a much better game especially if he gets to run in the open court. The Lakers offensively were horrible against the Pacers who were lulled into a boring low scoring grinding game, I hope that the energy the Nuggets produce in their style of play will reflect and set the tempo for the game and the Lakers get into a good rhythm.
Side note on Gasol prop - Faried is an absolute monster I love him, he plays with energy and heart unfortunately sometimes that isn't enough as your physical side becomes important, Gasol has him beat. Faried is only 6'8 and is severely undersized at the PF spot against Pau here who is a genuine 7fter with a good mid range game. Thats where he gets the points tonight, that free throw line extended jumper - if it falls. Rebounds wise I just think its an achievable goal, I expect Pau to have an all round great game and be around 16/10 with a couple assists.Comment -
