There isn't many dominant big men in the league today and it's extremely rare to have two of them and unfortunately for the Nets they play them today when they are on a roll. The Lakers have two premier big men, one who cant be guarded once he gets the ball under the ring and the other is a supreme passer that can stretch the floor with his mid range. Brook Lopez is only known for his offensive ability and he will have a rough time dealing with Howard, he simply is not strong enough. Gasol will cause all sorts of headaches as well and the Nets will be faced with someone they have yet to have dealt with.
The Nets have been winning/covering their last few games while one of their stars Joe Johnson has been shooting horribly. He's a combined 7/29 in the last two games and he had no defender on him that would cause him great stress. Now we see a possible matchup with MWP, JJ either steps up to the task or gets buried like his last two games..either way there is a lot of pressure on him. Laker bench has actually been decent, Hill/Jamison/Meeks are getting some points now. Reversely the Nets bench has been disappointing lately and I see them at best on par with the Lakers bench as far as production.

No play on the Lakers boys, i'm going to take my Knicks cash and look at tomorrow. Anyone interested in a play I'd say Lakers and Howard prop over 20 points. GL

Look I wont blindly bet the Knicks unless i think theres value, I faded them vs Memphis. That been said the starters played limited minutes today and Dallas does not impress me. I think the Knicks depth will be too much for a Dallas team that I just don't respect. What say you?

Yes, I agreed with you. Mavs seem to have cool off and have struggled in recent games.
Like 76ers tomorrow, without K.Irving, I don't think Cavs have a chance.

Yeah they will struggle without Irving for sure, I just don't like the Sixers though or their offence.

I liked this play the minute you posted and not because i am a New York Knick homer. I was also on the Lakers - 5.5, getting beat by the hook sucks. Lakers free-throw shooting was below average.
Nice work again on cashing. Big card tomorrow dude, i'd be interested to see what you like.

Knicks today was easy, I can't help but feel the same way tomorrow. Unlucky with the Lakers as good as the Nets played I felt that could have gone either way. I have so many plays I like tomorrow need to reduce them, i'll be posting full analysis though!

So i've been slack on the write ups but I had a sick day today and so I thought I would try and repay all you contributes and people who follow with my thoughts on this massive card tomorrow. These are all my thoughts and leans none of these are locks. I'll also do a star ranking from 1-5, 1 star being a very weak play and 5 being a strong play.
Raptors +2.5 **
So the Raptors were winning the whole game against Philly and blew it, even blowing the 6 point cover, why do we even want to consider taking them again? Well something that immediately stands out is Kyle Lowry having his second game here, the fight for the starting PG role in Toronto is well under way as Calderon has been balling hard. Both players will look to step it up each game. Interestingly enough all of the Raptors wins have come on back to backs which is also something to look into here, clearly the b2b doesnt bother them. Derozan and Bargnani should have great games here, both are shooting well - Bargnani in particular will give the Bobcats issues with his range.
Pistons +1 ****
I love the Pistons here, they have been putting together some good performances on the back of some great performances namely Monroe/Singler/Stuckey who have been getting points. Their defence against the Celtics and Sixers recently was also on point with some big impact from Drummond/Maxiel on the defensive end. I'm confident here the Pistons get it done against the Magic, who had an extremely close game a couple days ago in which they were ruined by a 3 by Reddick late. Nelson is also nursing a groin injury and I think that will effect him. Pistons won't let Reddick get those looks this game and will be pressing hard for a W here.
Philly -4 ***
Interesting game here, well not really. Philly have proven that their offence is disgusting but down the stretch their defence has been on point and they totally locked the Raps out in that 4th quarter today. I just don't know how you can bet CLE here, the only explanation is the old "take the team who doesnt have their star" rubbish but that might prove ignorant here as Irving runs that team. I don't see what they can do without him they will need Waiters to be lights out and I just don't see it against the Philly D. The Sixers already shut out the Cavs with Irving playing I can only imagine it will be replicated again. CLE are in a tough spot here as they give up some of the most points per game in the league against one of the best defensive sides without their leading scorer and role player. Will Varejao make buckets without his pick and roll partner? I just don't see it, public play or not you have to take Sixers or nothing here, there is no reasoning to support a Cavs bet. That been said Sixers always have me nervous especially when Holiday ain't on the court, I like the play but not sure if it warrants my money.
Indiana -7 **
Can't take the Hornets either in this game, it would be a sweat till the last basket. Indiana are starting to find the bottom of the net here and are hitting shots, and not only are they finding range on offence their defence is spot on. The Mavs game was a huge confidence boost, they have been playing decent ball at home. Unfortunately the Hornets are without Davis who is a big part of their game, one angle I do like supporting the Hornets is the come back performance after an embarrassing game although I think Indiana is the wrong team for them to do this against. I don't like this play too much though due to the inconsistency of Indiana and how bad potentially they can play, that been said Hibbert who has had a bad start to the season might have shown signs of turning a corner and could have a big game here without the presence of Davis on the defensive end.
Spurs -1.5 ***
Spurs have been looking suspect at home, having uncharacteristic lapses of concentrating and getting blown out in quarters (2nd quarter vs clippers cost them the game). However this is a perfect game for them to get back on track, they are deep enough to cover the lack of SF (Jackson/Leonard), the key for them is consistency and they have put together some great performances on the road. Paul Pierce has a little injury and although he believes its not serious he could be a possible out, either way he won't be 100% which is great news for Spurs backers. One of the let downs in the Clippers game for the Spurs was their shooting % it was awful, especially Danny Green and Gary Neal, I expect them to improve greatly in this game and will have a good opportunity to do damage. The Celts thus far have allowed one of the highest 3PM% in the NBA which could suggest a slight lack of speed in rotations and if the Spurs can find their touch this could pose a disaster for Boston. I think the Spurs will come out a high intensity and will be looking to improve after their bad performance at home, Pop will be getting these guys to focus for 4 quarters. A lot of talk was put into the depth of the Celts side however I believe their bench is weak, they are only averaging 21 points/11 rebounds/3.5 assists which compared to the Spurs who are averaging 41/17/9.3 is woeful. So there is a clear advantage on the bench and the production WILL be there for the Spurs, I believe this will be the main differential this game and it should be enough for the Spurs to cover.
Wizards +9.5 *
Don't really like this game, ATL are up and down but could easily blow them out here. The only reason I'd say Wizards is their desperation for a win makes them play quite hard they have had some real close games this season. Nene could be playing as well i'm not sure how good he will be but it could lift the Wizards. Hawks also gave up a back door cover recently, would only play the points here.
Knicks -1.5 ****
Love the Knicks here, the starters didn't have to play much in the second half in a blow out win over the Hornets and having already beaten the Mavs by 10 I can't say fading them would be smart here. Not only are the Knicks scoring 100 points a game but they are the leading team in defence. Brewer and Chandler are huge on the defensive end and do a lot of dirty work for the Knicks who are just on fire right now. Melo was in the zone today and I don't see any reason why he can't be just as good against the Mavs, Kamans range might prove to be an annoyance for the Knicks bigs who dont like to be too far away from the rim. I feel the Knicks are playing with confidence and a fire that just cannot be faded against less than impressive teams.
Heat -anything ****
I think this is a great spot to take the Heat here, who have had a long rest after a less than impressive two weeks. Wade has had a good rest and is experiencing no soreness and his defence will be critical against Ellis who has been shooting well lately. I expect Wade to shut him down. LeBron this season has been looking to involve his team mates more in the first half and then take the game into his own hands in the second, look for this again although obviously if he gets looks he will take them. The Heat in recent games had to move away from their smaller lineup due to some size issues namely against Denver and Memphis however they can play small ball against the Bucks who's bigs arent very devastating. This style suits the Heat, Bosh will have a great game and with Wade back Mike Miller will come off the bench and be a great addition instead of having to start. I don't see the Bucks having an answer for Miami here.
OKC -4 ***
I can't help but fade the Clippers here, I think they will meet their match in Oklahoma City. Durant has been in form and the Clippers do not have anyone that can guard him whatsoever and that goes for Westbrook too he will be too fast for CP3. I have no doubt the starts on the Thunder will beat the starters on the Clippers the issue here is the bench production that is offered from guys like Bledsloe/Crawford. Kevin Martin has been in amazing form lately and he should account for Crawford, containing Bledsloe will be a key target here. The Thunder have had really poor performances thus far against good teams and against key Western Conferences rivals they are 0-2, they will be looking to change this tomorrow and I believe will get a comfortable win. Due to the abilities and how hot the Clippers are I will tread carefully on unit size however I think this is the play.
Nets +2.5 ***
Heart breaking loss to the Lakers, they travel a short distance to play GSW. The b2b won't worry the Nets here, they will be strongly chasing a win. What I like about this is the matchups of the Nets bigs against GSW. Lee is really the only productive big on the Warriors team. They will have a tough time dealing with Lopez who has been an offensive beast as late, I do not see him being bothered by anyone on the Golden State squad. Wallace showed great signs against the Lakers today with his usual hustle play, we will see more of him offensively in this match. I would like to see Brooks get some minutes in this match, I think he could be used more effectively, Blatche off the bench should do some damage here as well. Overall the Nets showed good signs today against the Lakers and should build on it tonight.

Did you watch previous game between Magic and Detroit? Was It really so lucky for Magic, or Pistons came with poor lategame performance? I really like Knicks and the Spurs tonight. GSW is still too hot imo and I won't risk that..
And that Detroit play. Looks very interesting, waiting for some suggestions:P
