The Cavs are gonna have trouble scoring in this game if they don't crash the offensive glass and create second chance opportunities. Look for a rather slow tempo game and limited offensive possessions by both teams. Irving and D Will will be central figures tonight but look for both guys to take pride in defending.

The way I see it, they are def. gonna need some help from Utah to make the playoffs (cuz of tie-breaker), and I think they'll get it - Jazz have been shaky.

If they do make the playoffs, they're most likely getting destroyed 1st round OR going all the way to the finals.

Thanks. The Lakers are just built for a 7 game series. Guarding a player like a dwight and a bryant and then now that gasol is healthy you got to guard two 7 footers for 7 games. It's not an easy task. Sure you can be effective game 1, 2, 3, but what about games 4, 5, 6, 7 when you're legs start to get tired, when Duncans upper body starts to wear from guarding a guy that's much bigger than him. How long can a guy like Splitter defend a Dwight or a Pau? For how long can you ask Leonard and Green or Ginobli to guard a ruthless guy like Bryant and then still expect them to have their legs down the stretch of games and the series.

The only team I'm worried about out West for the Lakers is the Thunder and the Clippers if they're completely healthy. The Spurs will not beat the Lakers in a 7 game series. I'll do a big writeup. And when I win I will silence most of the crowd here at SBR include the Lakerman and his servants.

i've been making the same statements about 7 game series for years on this site. go look in the archives from 3 years back. no one on sports center talks about the things i do you fool. it's way too technical. guys losing their legs in games 5, 6, 7, jumpers falling short because they have to defend a wade and james for 7 straight games. find me one guy or clip on sports center saying that and i will leave here forever.
