Ps: T-Dog is my boy! Have been raving about him since KU days and didn't understand why he wasn't playing before for coach McHale, I think that the Rockets will be even better now. And damn if only Howard wasn't a "turrible" offensive player they would be a contender no doubt.

Yeah Iggy had a wide open 3 at the end of the quarter to cash the 1st Q bet, however it wasn't to be. Hopefully we can hit the HT bet and end with a small profit.

In these high scoring games, it seems too easy to take such a low 2nd half under after the teams put up such a massive 1st half, however for me it is very basic...

the tempo + to's + fg%'s x any relevant situational factors - for example 1 or both teams tiring in the 2nd half due to playing 4 games in 5 nights, teams coming off B2B's, playing in Denver, etc or another thing to consider, if it appears there will be a potential blowout that would clear the benches and usually lower the ppm (points per minute) due to the lower skill levels on the floor, the lack of late game fouling and often teams just dribbling out the final minute of the game, etc - many factors to consider.

So the point is, game tempo is not everything but it is the key to judging 2nd half over/under's, as long as you factor in all other relevant situational angles - so no we don't just auto play an Over 104 because they put up 120+ in the 1st half and the 2nd half total is set @ 104, there are of course many relevant factors to consider, but nor does that mean that the over 104 2nd half is a trap, or a square play or any silly nonsense like that

You failed to take into consideration that Golden State would suddenly stop scoring in the fourth quarter and magically make sure the 2H over wouldn't hit.
