#4203Are you serious? Spend 3+ hours on research everyday to wager $2 on a play? If you look carefully you will see I post the odds in US and decimal, US because this is an American site and hence most posters are American and decimal because I am Australian and some of my mates follow my plays and they don't understand US odds.
*Sorry guys not going to engage much in conversation until i break out of my mini slump. The good news is this thread has been removed from players talk and is now only in the nba/tennis sub-forums. The rules are a lot stricter in the sub-forums and basically idiots like Daimo or King_Danillo can't even post in here (as their posts are all negative). If anyone trolls this thread and it bothers you simply report them (top right corner) and they will most likely be issued an infraction by a mod, couple of those and they get banned temporarily, enough of those and they get perma-banned.
tough break with Kei. he looked great for the first 2 games but his knee is really hampering him. he's more likely to retire than to cover the +7 at this point.Comment -

#4205Tennis
Just tracking my plays, which is the point of this thread. Will update my record later. Win one, lose one, the story of the AO for me so far, the problem is I have been losing too many of the bigger plays and hitting on the smaller ones.
Men
Nishikori v Ferrer
Nishikori +7 (-119, $1.84 Pinnacle) 2.5x
*Nishi undervalued. Could lose in straight sets and still cover easily (6-4 7-6 6-3) but I expect him to take a set, would have to be the first or the second as Ferrer a great front runner.
Anyway...
Tipsarevic v Almagro
Almagro -1.5 (-107, $1.93 Pinnacle) 1.5x

#4210Well Nishi started looking like a samurai but now something is wrong with him, probably the knee injury flaring up and now he is getting crushed. The only hope is if he retires, which is definitely a chance, otherwise my terrible run continues. Don't recommend anyone tails at the moment, should probably be fading myself.
Anyway...
Tipsarevic v Almagro
Almagro -1.5 (-107, $1.93 Pinnacle) 1.5x
Men
Djokovic v Wawrinka
Under 30 (-110, $1.90 Sportingbet/Centrebet) 1x
Anderson v Berdych
Over 39 (-107, $1.93 Pinnacle) 1x
Women
Sharapova v Flipkens
Under 17 (-135, $1.74 Pinnacle) 2x
* Bought the hook (from 16.5 just to be safe - lost two O/U bets yesterday by the hook)
**Masha destroying everyone, appears to be Serena's only challenger, as not impressed with Aza so far this year. Flipkens playing career best tennis but MASSIVE step up from Brachikova, Zakapalova and Savinykh.Last edited by sando; 01-19-13, 11:24 PM.Comment -

I hear ya.. Last year I lost a set bet because of Tipsarevic. I had his opponent to win this particular set, it was 5-2 or 5-3 to his opponent and 40-15. His opponent was serving for the set and before he made the serve Tipsarevic just walked to shake hands and the bet got voided..Comment -

#4232Hi guys this is my first post on sbr forum but I have been following this forum especially this thread for a long time.
I don't like to say that but this situation about Tipsarevic is very suspicious. There is a real possibility that he is doing it to make his games a push when it is evident that he will lose.
I remember one funny situation in Croatia. Last year Cibona (the best basketball team in Croatia) lost one game in domestic championship. They were clear favourite. After the game one Cibona fan was very frustrated and came to Cibona coach and complained about losing his parlay just because of Cibona. He even showed his ticket to the coach. At the end the coach payed him the sum he was supposed to win if Cibona had won the game.
Perhaps Tipsarevic has the same problemComment -

#4233[QUOTE=Sando; clearly you aren't familiar with Tipsarevic [/QUOTE]
I'm 100 % familiar with his history and I still don't think this is "behavior". The guy plays tons of 5 setters and long matches and puts a ton of wear on his body. All I'm saying is that he's not disgracing his country by retiring in the 2nd set after clearly favoring his heel. I understand your mad about your losing bet and your recent string of performance but I really doubt he's fixing matches or anything doing anything illegal here. Maybe you're the one that isn't familiar with his history if you're willing to wager on a total or spread that wouldn't cash if he retired. It's just such a bold claim and if you had taken Almagro ML, I really doubt we'd be having this conversation.
Anyway, I know you'll work hard and turn this ship around. Keep up the hard work.Comment -
