Huge sports weekend for DFW...you should see what they did to Jerry World in Arlington in preparation for the Final Four.

texas motorspeedway is also having some big concert at the racetrack too i guess for the fans that are there

they scheduled the whole weekend around the final four over there.

Normally obviously NW would've been Saturday afternoon

Meanwhile, Texas Motor Speedway hopes that as many as 150,000 will travel to far north Fort Worth for the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup & Nationwide Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 and Duck Commander 500. The Nationwide Series race will be held Friday, instead of Saturday, with the Duck Commander 500 on Sunday. Qualifying heats for the Sunday race will be held Saturday.
Eddie Gossage, the speedway’s president, said he asked NASCAR to change the weekend of the race to avoid competition with the Final Four, but NASCAR said no. That’s when local track officials changed the race days. But it will work out well, he said, because the NCAA and NASCAR share some of the same sponsors.
“There’s an upside for us,” Gossage said. “High-ranking CEOs from major corporations will be here Sunday. In any market, you want to avoid any competition. So much of the spotlight will be on the Final Four.”

you guys get the tire report? im sure you did. the right side was used twice last year and the only 3 guys that seem to have a handle on it was joey, kevin and bowyer. and by that i mean they were the only ones passing. joey won at michigan...harvick was great on it at atlanta till he over slid his pit and bowyer fast as well at atlanta but blew up.


also on this compound at atlanta harvick had a 10 sec lead in the busch race till a late caution came out. just a heads up

Cant ever remember a nationwide race being scheduled 2 days b4 cup race at the same venue, or one being a night race and the other not. I guess its because of final 4 shaun said.
Sets up 4 a good weekend tho, race friday, pull my gators in saturday, and cup race sunday
Took a shot with blaney at 16-1 for the nw race

It's very very rare. I can remember it happening maybe a few times in the years I've watched. I did not even notice that the race was tomorrow night soq glad that said something. Lol. Thanks. I know I would have found out but still helps of if I wanted to bet anything early which I rarely so in nationwide. But I think last time I ever remember this there was some other race on Saturday but can't remember what it was ( not Indy car series or anything like that. Maybe modifiers or something but I'm not sure). I sure wish the cup race was a sat night race. But considering. Its final 4 weekend that's probably why that didn't happen for nationwide being Saturday

Just thought at +3000 and one of his better tracks worth a shot, he was running better at the paper clip for a while so maybe the team showing a little improvement

It is worth a shot at those odds because this is one of his best tracks. I had planned on taking him early then talked myself out of it. May put something small on him but just have not done it yet.

Shaun, I was thinking about taking Biffle but based on his performance this year I have not pulled the trigger. Still might, I did jump on Edwards at opening at +2000
