if adongo and kerr are playing for counties on saturday 1.75 is absolute gold for them to beat northland.
adongo is their achilles heal, their mvp without a doubt in my mind, they get absolutely smashed at the breakdown without him(view manawatu game 1st half and then 2nd half when they brought him on) and against tasman the other night.
Will definitely be waiting to see if Kerr plays.

I tailed it, good start but really slowed down now... a try before half would be nice. You were spot on so far with otago + the points as well.

Mate, we may well have just gotten burried by that disallowed try.

yeah, was a bit late back after half but saw the replay, what was the call on the field, try?
and now some sloppiness by auckland... got penalty at least, but need tries not kicks...

Nah mate burried by the typical "grind-it-out" fashion that happens in rugby when games are this close.

Auckland have butchered a fair few.
Man Parkes is one of the worst players I have watched throughout this ITM cup. He has had a deadset shocker tonight. And to think that new super 15 franchise actually signed him.

Yeah i agree about Adongo and Kerr. Counties lynchpins are Simon Lemalu, Adongo, Cathcart and Fritz Lee in the pack. The problem is, the latter two are out injured, with Lee out for good.
I'm thinking Wellington -8.5 at this point, they score points, and if the weather's good at home they'll really light up a Taranaki team who are probably getting pretty tired at this point. Depth is key at this stage of the season.
Damn went -9.5 on Auckland last night. Absolutely robbed by the TMO's decision not to give that try in the corner, absolutely bizzare. Great game by Otago tho, some awesome rugby.
Not really sure about Manawatu Southland. Maybe Manawatu +5.5, but that's still quite a low percentage play. Can't find teamsheets and the sportal.co.nz preview isn't up yet.

invercargill raining whole day today, might be a really big advantage to southland and they do play really well at home but they are without mackintosh.

I've got a small bit on manawatu +5.5 at 195. A little bit conflicted as I think Manawatu might have the edge in the backs, but if the weather is terrible (and i reckon it will be) then that will help southland keep it tight and nudge the win.

Just remember Counties have top spot already, no need for them to win (although they will still be going for it obviously).
Actually I'm wrong there, if Tasman get a bp win since they beat Counties they would go top. So Counties just need 1 point from the game.

Southland -5.5 is the play boys, southland love this kind of rugby not to mention they are a different team at home.

To me it is just two garbage teams going at it.
For Southland to cover they need to somehow score.
Manawatu somewhat impressed me against Hawke's Bay last week.
If the weather is nasty then it obviously plays into the hands of Southland but Manawatu showed an ability to grind out a win in tough conditions over Hawke's Bay.

Southland struggle to score tries in ideal conditions.
If the weather is bad this game might not break 25 points.
Again I would struggle to put funds on either side or the total.
But look at Easy's record...it speaks for itself. He knows a lot more about rugby than I do.

That's an odd total, I'd be looking at over 50..
Harbour will throw it around and so will Tasman who will look for the 4 tries.

dude, this is not a bullshit win, its a southland win.. they do this almost everytime they are behind by 1-6 points in the last 10 minutes.
Adding - Waikato/Hawkes Bay u50.5 - 6 Units
Line came out this morning and was a little stunned, what we have here is "Ranfurly Sheild Challenge" (which are very rarely high scoring) plus Hawkes Bay gives up if they are down 10+ points at half time & if the game gets tight both teams D will be pick up with very few line breaks (not to mention possible rain). If you have followed me over the course of the thread you'll notice i rarely do big unit plays and this will most likely be my last one for the season.
Lets get this!
