Manawatu +4.5 over Otago - 3 Units

I really like this play, manawatu are looking for redemption for such a poor attempt at the ranfurly sheild match. Plus otago definitely arent worth this line they are incredibly rough around the edges and have only be playing good rugby at home.

Argentina 12 & Under - 3 Units & Game total under projected for 6 Units

I think aussie have done a wee bit to much travelling lately and playing a dissapointed argentina team at home (with plenty left to play for seems a bit too much for the wallabies, however argentina will not run away with this by any means this will become a grind it out style match with very few tries scored.

Nope dosen't worry me much, he is awesome on offence but crap on D (and cant kick to save himself) with another 1st ive that plays the basics well may actually help this manawatu team tonight, plus they need this too much.

lol yeah was dirty when I saw that you like Manawatu as well. I think they are a solid pick in this spot - still -3.5 (evens) is a decent number for Otago - so if they wanted to get on that side they could do worse than getting on at that number.

Tomasi Cama is shit in the 15 man game, he doesn't work well against a set defence and doesn't straighten an attack enough.

Depending on team lists two excellent bets this weekend in SA +5.5 and Aus straight at 1.90.

A legitimate shield match like tonight would generally lead me to take the under but Waikato's admission to wanting to win the game with attack puts me off a little.

Hey guys, saw this thread while looking around for info on 5dimes rugby betting and thought i'd jump in.

Very new to internet betting, just made some money on a UFC fight thru 5dimes but need to rollover so looking to put some up on rugby union games.

Waikato won't quite have the depth of squad and precision to beat Taranaki tonight. They do have a hardworking pack but are lacking a really great ball-playing loose forward trio, which is where the Naki will put them away. Naki have good outside backs and lots of forward pack depth.

can someone tell me what all this means:

not so much the money line, i get that, but the spread and total points. I'm just not crystal clear on what each of them means? over or under 7.5 points for each team and the total points is over or under for total points scored in the match?

taranaki-7.5 = taranaki has to win 8 or more points to win the bet
o53.5 = total match points of 54 points or more
