I started watching again about 2 years ago & they got me hooked, I find it funny so I like it. Its not even the actual wrestling I care about, its the story lines.

& watching the young guys get more famous

Okay I bought SVR 11 a few weeks ago, I don't know half the guys in the game! So I've watched Raw the past 2 weeks for the first time in 5 years or so, it was pretty good actually.

When you say fake sure it scripted and they are not real enemies, but they do have to take the hits as real which will hurt you. You might say "wow those chop to the chest look like they hurt, wonder how they do it with those noise" well those chops to the chest are real and painful. That's why they are on pain killers, so when you say fake I dare you to do the same training they do and see how fake the hits are.

Was hoping someone would say something like this. I agree, and it's a good thing your from SD too.

    Everytime the miz comes on, I change the channel and go take a piss break or take a shit. When the miz became the new "WWE Champ", that was the day the glory of that title belt was buried and all of the past real wrestlers who never became Champs got a slap in the face;
    Razor Ramon
    Mr.Perfect (RIP)
    Jim Snuka
    Rowdy Roddy Piper

If there is any future face of the WWE, it's John Morrison. miz is getting an incredible push and sucks how the writers try to make the miz look like some kind of a threat. Give me a fuking break, the piece of shit can't wrestle.

Can't stand wrestling now. It is a soap opera. The only time I watched wrestling was from 1997-2002. The day I knew the end was near was at Wrestlemania X7. Probably the best PPV I have ever seen but the end where Austin went heel was the writing on the wall for me. I stuck around for a few months to see how the WCW Invasion angle played out but by 2002 I was pretty much done with it.

See back in the day the rosters weren't over populated. You had actual feuds at the bottom of the card. You had entertaining characters who weren't realistic but we all knew it was fake anyway. We wanted our characters to be fake as hell and the wrestling in the ring to be brutal. Now they don't even use chairs. Think about a show back in the late 90's. Think of the crowd pop for the New Age Outlaws, The Rock, Austin, etc. It didn't matter if you her heel or face if you had a catch phrase it was always fun. These guys had mic skills. It wasn't about who was the biggest body builder it was who could work a mic, sell a match, and make the crowd believe. We will never see better characters at a wrestling show then Mr. McMahon, Austin, The Rock, DX, Undertaker, Kane, and Mankind/Cactus/Dude Love.

Now they recycle the same story lines. There is no credible tag team division. Too many wrestlers have the same character think about it. How many big juiceheads with no personality can you have? Back then they had actual stables Nation of Domination, Ministry, DX, Brood, Corporation, etc. Those really added a lot to the show.

I miss the old days and refuse to watch the crap on TV today. I still catch the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania though just to pay my respects.

BTW guy that HHH pop wasn't the biggest. The Rock/Mankind match where Austin came back and hit Rock with a chair to give Mankind the title was the biggest pop I've ever heard. Can't find a clip on YouTube though.

I appreciate the effort put forth there J...

But as you can see in my avatar...that's what I think.
Morrison is definitely the Jeanetty of the In-Crowd...but he can save himself if he goes back to his whacked-out, Doors gimmick. That was truly awesome.

I think HBK is the only guy who never changed his entrance theme.
Jericho changed it once for a couple of weeks, didn't fly, then he changed it back to Walls of Jericho.

i used to like it in the 80's when they were actually characters like ravishing rick and jake the snake and koko b ware and so on...now its just like no one has a personality and everyones the same...back then u could pin a guy after a body slam nowadays u literally have to either hit him with a chair 13 times or shoot him otherwise the match never ends,lol...BUT...i still watch haha

Macho Man Savage was the best. I got a hard on when he joined nWo. Wish Hogan never joined, he ruined it. He couldn't let everyone else get all the glory from it without getting a piece for himself.
