BC is starting 11 canadians vs. the league mandated 7 .......... did they spend too much of their cap on reilly at QB?

one canadian starter is very rusty and another wasn't even drafted..... 8 canadians on offense. wow

so i might fade BC. too many new starters (same as last year)....... start thinking of tailing them halfway through the season.

Offensively they should be better with Reilly. Wanna see what their D looks like. Everybody seems to love Winnipeg and Hamilton.

when was the last time fajardo actually played any meaningful minutes before the other night? and he was heavy run QB in college (he did pass too but alot of running)

a cfl observor made a good comment the other day. regarding players who spend a few years on NFL practice roster (not fajardo), when was the last time they actually played a game? it can be a long time. not just rusty but weight distribution changes amongst linemen. and you might not notice the effects until you play a real game.

Ya kicker missed FG and extra point. Surprised by that. Fajardo was Rays backup. Mostly came in on 2nd and 3rd and shorts. I remember a game in Montreal maybe 2 years ago now. Ray must have been injured. I don't think he cracked 100 yards passing. His passes always seem high and wide. Arm motion seems so chaotic, no touch. QB situation has been going downhill in the CFL and there's no depth at the position.

Bad hit, no doubt. I'm gonna assume the next evolution of this new upgrade to 25 yards late hit penalty is automatic ejection on the 1st one instead of getting ejected on the 2nd one. Fajardo can't throw. 3rd stringer didnt look too bad.
