I'm seriously considering going big on Australia to win the Tri Nations @ $8

I think NZ will rest a few players for the SA clash and if Australia beat SA it is hard to see SA losing all 3 games. They play with too much pride and passion to do so. Also the game in Brisbane is after the WC squad is announced and it could mean Henry will rest most of the core squad for that game. Australia will be playing a full strength side in every game.

Brad thorn is getting too old anyways, Read is good but Thomson fills his boots easy, Dan carter the possibility of being left is the only concern. If Dagg gets back to his usual game i would start him over Mills at fullback anyway.

$8 is value tho

Agreed, dagg looks to of recovered nicely too.

I've already played oz at 8.00 to hedge my NZ TN bet, one of the easiest hedge bets ever.

Tab have dropped oz to 7 from 8 and SA from 200 to 50 bahaha

Betting too hard on this TN is like betting the lead up tournaments before a tennis slam - it will throw up some strange results.

I would rather stay away...

I think it's a very good bet. It's way over at $8. If the Wallabies win against SA (which they're 2.37?) they are in the box seat. I can't see the Saffers losing to the ABs next week and if if they do the Wallabies then will only have to score a bonus point victory (and deny the ABs) in the Brisbane to win the TNs if the bonus points are the same against SA. Henry will no doubt rest his stars for the Brisbane clash as it's after the WC squad and you don't want to risk them. I'll be putting 3-5 units on it and you can always hedge if Australia win this week as it will no doubt go down.

Taranaki/BOP - Cannot split them. I'd lean BOP but I might have to leave this one.

Was just looking into this game and was deadset on BOP then saw that the half back moa has flown over to tonga to start RWC training.

Lines opened at 1.67 bop - 2.10 naki then went to 1.87 even and now naki 1.62 - bop 2.20

If the line keeps going out I'll bet bop for value, if not I'm going to stay clear of this one

I have been looking at that BOP line all arvo and saw it go from taranaki 1.82ish to 1.62, was wondering what was up

Firstly, Taranaki moved from -1.5 to -2.5. So i waited a bit... and now its back to -1. FFS.

Under 45.5 and BOP +2.5 it is.
