I’m on this one too. Horse always tries. Should have won last time out.

Not that I want to say the race was fixed but it almost looked like the jockeys on the horses that were running on weren’t trying to go by the horse that won. The trainer of the winner was being inducted into the Nebraska racing hall of fame that night. Just seemed to fit the story of the day.

Gulfstream Park plans to continue racing Wednesday and hold Saturday’s Florida Derby as scheduled, despite Broward County’s ban on nonessential business and the city of Hallandale Beach asking the horse racing track to shut down and postpone the Derby,
Despite the novel coronavirus pandemic, Hallandale Beach Vice Mayor Sabrina Javellana said the track has threatened legal action against the city if it tried to prevent racing.
“They need to stop the racing,” Javellana said. “We can’t just bend to their will just because they say they’re going to sue us or [take] whatever legal action They’re a powerful entity, but we can’t just allow that to go on. They’re blatantly violating the Broward County order.”

Yeah, I can see both sides of the arguments. I wish they can continue but shutting down maybe the the right thing to do....... this is such hard times right now. Stay safe everyone

They will come to some compromise and allow racing thru Saturday. For gulfstream park. It's a lose lose thing. For g.p. They can only come out of this looking bad. With one case if the 19 it's going to come down to health versus fun. They will be shamed into closing I'm with you I see both sides
