Same connections(Rigney Racing and Philip Bauer) of Minute Waltz, who was impressive winning Saturday. Angkor has had 12 steady works since Aug 6th leading up to this, with the last 7 of them working right along side Minute Waltz. He should be fit and ready for a big effort first out.
Will post race 3 in the morning
Race 3 is off the turf so no play.

Nice call in race 7. Of the first timers I liked him best but went with experience.

thanks.. I'm pretty committed to not playing horses who show an obvious good effort in these types of races.. not knocking you for doing so as that's just my thing.. lots of times I get beaten by them and that's to be expected.. nice call on the other race
this is for 3 up so not a record play.. I'm going with #6 ready to answer (6-1)

i always like when chad brown/klaravich team (hence financial name) have an inexpensive yearling purchase.. to get involved they must have seen something they really liked as these guys are regular low-mid 6 figure buyers.. think debut good for a little experience and foundation (very wide on the turn) and they stretch her out on the turf today
out @ 4-1
R8 #8 abrogate (5-1) 6W 2P (also thursday)

When I saw they paid $200,000(stud fee $5000), I had to look them up and find out more. Here is an article I found from last year. Cherie DeVaux, former assistant to Chad Brown, apparently handles most, if not all their purchases. https://www.thoroughbreddailynews.co...f-and-running/

wow amazing success with their first batch of purchases.. seems like the people doing the buying know their stuff.. have to keep an eye out for this outfit.. seen devaux's name out there before and coming up under chad brown good chance she'll be a force down the road.. especially with clients like this
