not really a pool watcher but in general like to avoid horses I feel are cold.. that's not a perfect strategy either as you're going to get burned doing that on occasion as I'm sure you know.. think overall do better factoring the odds especially with debut horses

The absoulte best thing always have up is the betfair exchange for races they offer. It is a great tool to tell if the Tote favorite is soild or not as many times you will see a 4/5 shot in the tote @ much higher odds like 2-1 (Weak Fav)in the exchange and vice versua a 2-1 in the tote thats like 6/5 in the exchange which means he will get the late money and is solid FAV. The Exchange prices are much much sharper then the USA tote.

2)grade 3(too high and ran pretty good anyway)
3)gulfstream park west (maybe pushing it but was the only time away from this track in his last 10 starts) can't see me not playing him
