Race 1
78k Mdn
Dirt Sprint going 6 furlongs
#1 Tequila Fog (6/1), Just right off the bat seeing Chris Landeros 6/1 makes tells me this one is live. But up a bullet work @ Belmont on Saturday outworking 80 outta 82 horses on Travers day. Dermot is a solid horsemen and does some of the best work in Mdn racing hitting at a 25% clip, and this one pedigree has been successful with others.
#2 Aubrey Tate (9/2), Making 2nd start of her career, had a bad start in debut and was bet some @ 8/1 but coulda been a jose ortiz effect. Red Flag off the bat for me, having Jose choosing another filly @ 15/1.
#3 Surprise Arrival (15/1), First time Jose effect is real, and could take a step forward for mike maker in her second try.
#4 More Glitter (2/1), Ok so you see Todd Pletcher and Johnny V here and definitely breed to sprint. But check out the works. 3 back on AUG11 they worked this one on the turf and put up a 48’ outworking 53 of 60 horses that day, followed with an impressive dirt work and then an above average work on friday. More than Capable of performing here but thinking they want to put this one of the grass eventually This is 340k Purchase that you’ll wanna keep an eye on the tote.
#5 Irish Danzing (4/1) , 120k purchase for clement who’s been doing better with firsts on the dirt lately, been working solid and meets 2nd leading riding enticed.
#6 Bingolina (8/1) & #7 Barkler Lane (30/1) Nothing worth writing about
#8 Keypit (15/1) , 60k Purchase for Albertrani, is only one of 2 previous runners getting the drugs for the first time. horse ran 5th beaten by 15th so, expect a move forward.
#9 Ama Is a Rock (20/1) & #10 Welsh Gold (10/1) Nothing worth writing about
#11 EZ for You to Say (12/1 AE) & #13 Sister Beauty (10/1 AE) Nothing worth writing about
#12 Playtone (5/1 AE), if this one draws in and Jose rides, is a player off the placing in Debut to Risky Mischief
Potential Winners {1,4,5,12(AE) }

Race 2
40k OC going 1 & 1/8th on the grass
#1 Minsky Moment (3/1), was a 290k Purchase for Chad Brown, This is is 10 2-5-2 lifetime and a seems to be a nibbler. Has swallowed money in the last 2 but is protected here and irad sticks around again. Horse has clearly performed better on the turf 3 0-2-1 , with those 2 places coming 2 winters back in allowance level racing. They gave this one 16 months off before starting the 2019 campaign. And the last was off another layoff since may. So it is very encouraging to run back again in this same month.
#2 Vincento (2/1 MTO) , Of a player on the dirt, but not expecting that, so cross that bridge if we come to it.
#3 Evaluator (10/1), Has plenty of back class and enters this protected for Mr. Bond, 2nd off the claim. Hasn’t won since before a couple halloweens ago, and hasn’t been on the grass since a month before that. Horse ran here just a few weeks ago in a 100k stakes and DNF, since has worked on the grass and a quick turnover off the DNF. Horse has earned 10x the purchase price , but at 4 years old already seems best days behind him.
#4 Ides of Arch (15/1) & #5 Peter’s Project (10/1 MTO) , Nothing to write on here
#6 Cross Border (8/5), Mike Maker claimed this horse from Woodbine last year , gave a year off and brought NY. Since has ran 2nd losing by a head , and 2 wins all @ allowance races. Is 2 for 2 at this meet alone and I think just running again to get another win at this level. Just won here a little over 2 weeks ago. Clear choice for the saratoga hat trick (gotta check to see any others live to do that)
#7 We Should Talk (6/1) , 3rd off the claim for Gary Gullo and just ran second in the race the #1 ran rd. Prefer others , as remember the rail horse might of needed that one. Prefer Others
#8 Riendo (15/1), Kendrick gave this one a great ride in the last here in july to get up late. Don’t expect that to happen again here. Prefer Others
#9 Gamblers Fallacy (5/2), Is the other Chad Brown here. This horse has a late kick but hasn’t ran since the end of june and did break his maiden here last year on the dirt
So Chad Brown bookends this field, and is clearly live. I just think its a great chance to single and beat ‘em. The #6 Cross Border is just in tremendous form right now, and who isn’t rooting for a horse to win 3 @ this meet. Both the browns are off the pace runners and there isn’t any speed in here at all besides the #6. Having the 2 browns just will help the value on the 6 even if he still ends up the favorite.
Luis is one of the best front end riders in the game and this one should be able to take them all the way again here.

Race 3
is a 20k Claiming Dirt Sprint going 6.5
#1 Camorra (4/5), This Pletcher showed wicked speed in first 3 efforts but zilch in the 2 tries at the spa since. 2nd off the layoff here and will be ultra dangerous if can find that form as a 3 year old. Question marks as this one is for sale for the first time.
#2 Tequila Sunday (7/2), Klesaris is 0 for 4 at the meet and is clearly trying to get a win up here. Look this one ran here late july @ 78/1 and showed nothing. Shipped to Delaware , set the pace and quit going a mile. Horse is 2 for 32 lifetime , however meets 2nd leading rider takes the reins. Clearly going to try and set the pace here, and if the 1 is near her last years form (which i doubt) its bad for both.
#3 Blissful Breeze (12/1) , is going turf to dirt but this horse ran 14/19 lifetime not the lawn and now trying again? no thanks
#4 Parlapiano (20/1) , Nothing to speak on
#5 Offlee Irish (15/1), This Finger lakes shipper is shortening up , but just hasn’t shown enough for me to get behind.
#6 Taylor’s the Boss (6/1), This one ran evenly with a solid speed figure earlier this month. Has a chance for Miranda who also has the 3 in here. Was beaten by the 2 in may.
#7 Golden Value (5/1), I don’t know this trainer Vetter who claimed this one from the Brad Cox barn. Speed #’s rate and ran second behind the 6 in last and been a foe in a few recently.
This race is brutal on the eyes.
Im gonna go with the #2 Tequila Sunday and Irad as the top choice.
Use the 1-2-5-6

Race 4
50k Allowance Turf Sprint going 5.5
#1 Game Boy Benny (5/1), we had this one here less than 2 weeks ago when breaking the maiden. Mr. Weaver was encouraged enough to claim this one and on the normal move up with the quick turnaround. Breed for the grass, and they tried to get ‘em on the grass in the last 2.
#2 Sneakiness (2/1 MTO), this is the one that dutrow broke both their maidens on last out. Which was a strong performance a game firster Majestic West (who im waiting on to run again) but don’t expect this to be off the turf.
#3 Seven Gems (3/1), Florida shipper loaded with speed (but so are many others here) Clear upgrade in the cockpit. Should like the shorter distance.
#4 He iz gone (12/1), Clement claimed this one after winning 3 straight @ Presque Isle who had a ton of speed, stretched out on the lawn here in july and got swallowed up, should improve going back to sprint.
#5 Tenure (5/2), Is another clement who’s never been worse than 2nd Rosario returns after a placing (the #6 horse ran 3rd) how can you toss with joel coming back?
#6 Lundqvist (8/1), just talked about the last ran 3rd @ 21/1. Broke his maiden the race before on the dirt, and worked well since that last showing. This one has found its form, and luis sticks around. has shown the ability to sit off the pace in a race that features a ton of it. I think this one keeps improving and is a big player at a price.
#7 Surge Pricing (9/2), first off the claim for MR. Kenneally from chad browns barn. JAvy rode in all 3 pervious races and won 2 of them. Put up a bullet work since and is clear player.
#8 Wild One Forever (4/1) , Englehart claims this one from ward after breaking maiden by 8 and jose enticed. Did run 2nd to the 7 when he broke maiden in debut
Potential Winners 5-6-7-8
——
Race 5
16k Claimer going 7/8ths on the dirt
#1 Business Cycle (1/1) , Lightly raced 6 year old drops in the for the tag for the first time. JAvy returns. Has shown nothing the last 2 times off the bench when going against winners for the first time.
Lowest level at the meet and there just isn’t anything else in here.
