New Pick contest?

Is anyone interested in starting a new pick contest? I was thinking of something like what Easy rider and Hart have got. Maybe 100 picks ftom Belmont and SA or Gulfstream??I'm new so I don't know a lot about setting up one nor do I have a lot of points to wager but I could do 50 or so. What do ya think?

Hey Pmaynard: Good idea as it's a good way to get some action without risking $$. I may be up for a contest come Saratoga and Del Mar this summer. Right now though taking a break from the steeds as I was cold as Ice. GL.

well you and i arent pro so we cant transfer points, ill do it for fun.........mrginandtonic cant play all the time.....why dont we just play use any track this way you can play 7 days a week...........play 100 plays once you hit 100 your donr....could take two weeks or a month..something different what do you think..

OK, Preakness day sounds good to me.

We'll do 100 Plays, any track. $2.00 picks. Win or Show. Picks must be in before first post of the track your playing. No changes unless Scratches, allow another play as long as its before first post. Does this sound good to you guys, let me know if I missed anything? Let me know and I'll start a new thread for the contest. Thanks.

*no monday or tuesday..
*only major circuits md,fla,cd,ny,mth,ca..
*5 plays day ..20 week max..to spread it out over time..
*can choose 75 or 100 plays going in..this way if you think you'll play less lower number an option..roi's for scoring
*2 win place format..48/27cap
* no repeat bets
*in before first post
* keep your own score so it's not a chore for one person to do them all..twice/week somebody consolidate it in one post

not offended if you don't like any or all..just putting them out there

Great suggestions. The only problem that I may have is that I don't play very often any more, so if only limits to 5 plays per day that may take me a long time before I can get to 100. I am ok with 20 max for a week. But if you guys want to limit to 5 max, I will go with it too.

Also, instead of posting picks before 1st post, I would like to request up till post time of that race.

And I agree with keeping own score, especially me, cuz my posts will be very erratic and difficult to keep track.
